Heroes of the Storm

I was surprised at the inclusion of a Bunker Ultimate, I thought for sure that'd be an SCV Hero's Ult (or one of them), but honestly, it's better for a beefy tank to have something his buddies can plop into instead of a fragile guy who'd stay away from most action.

TIME TO HARD COUNTER GENJI
But they aren't adding Moira.

Additionally, I heard some leak that we're getting Reindhart, Mei, McCree, and Winston this year.

Please no more leaks.
That last leak soured the second half of the year for Hero releases.
I don't mind more OW Heroes unlike some people but I just don't wanna be spoiled again.
Also praying for a Warcraft event this year so we can finally get those two Warcraft maps and start getting more original maps
Maybe some based on the AUs

Do you think they could repurpose the starcraft and HotS experience into a real Warcraft 4? like a dramatic RTS with lovable characters and not-so-lovable edgelords that every teenager loves anyway?

Every other week is a Warcraft event.

Mephisto looks pretty great, the Diablo fanbase is being unnecessarily harsh, saying he doesn't look like Mephisto or claiming they're dumbing down the design like they did in Diablo 3, standard D2 elitism, I think he looks rad.

They did a good job, I can understand why they chose not to have fire and electricity around him since it would look like an active AOE damage effect.

I'll be playing a ton of Heroes once this patch drops, if any of y'all wanna play Cho'gall with me

Anyway dang look at that Dehaka skin with the legos floating around him

Reactions: Dunk
Sigh.
Double posting once more, but with some very bad news.
Blizzard is moving developers from Heroes of the Storm to other Blizzard projects, putting the game into "Long term sustainability" mode (still giving us Heroes, Themed Events, and maps, apparently), but killing off the eSports scene, essentially.
Best case scenario: No more meta shaking, more fun heroes, we get fewer but more important Heroes
Worst Case Scenario: We get Diablo 3'd, very very few updates from here on out.

I still like Blizzard but this is the next in a long line of baffling Blizzard decisions.

I don't want to be pessimistic, but that sounds like a death blow to the game and to the community surrounding it. I would give the game another year, but I doubt the player base is going to tolerate this news and move on quickly.

The new CFO of Blizzard is from Activision and they are cleaning house, which is strange because Blizzard seems to be far from a financial crisis.

There's a ton of players on the Reddit cleaning up house and leaving, really depressing, but I'm pretty sure the Casual crowd won't really mind this, Blizzard also doesn't really close games, so I think it'll be around for a while, but the updates will slow... very... very... much.

I'm not quitting. I'll stick around until it's last breathes, if the games gonna die i might as well get some more fond memories before it's gone.

Yeah, Activision definitely motivated this decision, for certain. Overwatch Sold 6 billion copies so now they want Blizzard to be their next cash cow, sickening.

Game ain't dead yet, since that last post we've had:
Imperius
Anduin
A few skin/holiday events...
And a new event's started too that lasts until the end of August!
Complete every quest to get Mecha Tyrael (Plus Tyrael if you don't have him) for free.

If any of you guys still play and wanna play Cho'gall with me, I'll still be around for this event.

Heroes of the Storm: (Has a gutted team, much slower Hero releases, and overall life support mode)
Also Heroes of the Storm: (releases another damn Nexus Original instead of something original like Onyxia)

I'm not against Nexus Originals but they definitely should've waited a few more months before adding another.
