As the year winds to a close, we rapidly approach one of the most anticipi-... eagerly aw-... an event that is at the least entertaining to watch because it has some announcements and stuff here and there.

The Game Awards starts in about 11 days, and with still no Playstation Experience planned, this is perhaps the last (if you don't count Jumpfesta) event to get big hype worthy announcements before E3 2020!

Since it's a Televised event, there's bound to be some cool stuff, some poor choices for awards, and some people acting off script (shout-outs to Josef Fares)

Plus last year we had Joker for Smash revealed at the Game Awards so maybe people will up their game

As with last year, the nominations are here
Some odd choices are Death Stranding in everything and Jump Force as best fighting game? Strange.

So, talk about what you hope will be revealed, what you hope wins GOTY, etc.
Personally I just hope we get a FP5 announcement...

Death Stranding...If that gets GotY after being out the bare minimum to get in the awards I'm calling BS.

DMC 5 Deserved that slot instead.

At least they learned after last Year and did not make all the Content Creator Nominees Fortnut streamers.

Can't wait for the cringe compilations.

I can't wait to see the new Smash character come out.

It's gonna be great.

I bet on RE3 teaser and demons' souls remake for the announcements.

Also, DMC5 deserved a slot

Wowee Zowee, in addition to the Game Awards next week, we also get the final Playstation State of Play for 2019
Apparently THAT'S where the REmake 3 will be revealed, because Doritos Pope himself said REmake 3 wasn't planned to be shown at the Game Awards.

In addition to this, Doritos Pope confirmed that there will be "At least 10" new game/project reveals at the Game Awards, and don't forget, that's not counting DLC/other franchise update reveals...

Vergeben just deconfirmed a metric crap ton of character reveals for the Game Awards.

The only ones left are some indies, Sony characters, and Fate characters.

At this point, I'm convinced that a lot of Sources are deepcover triple agents who are purposefully mixing in false information at the behest of Sakurai to throw off the trail because he's sick and tired of leaks, so I'm just gonna ignore a lot of leaks when it comes to Smash

Reggie is coming as a Presenter for The Game Awards Thursday night, the crowd will welcome him back with Open arms, you all know it!

Okay, that's actually interesting.
