The Evo lineup announcement has come and gone. While I'm sure most of you are disappointed that Skullgirls wasn't included, don't be deterred just yet!

If we can show up at this year's Evo with the numbers to back up our presence, we just might become a stage game before you know it! There's still plenty of time to plan a side tournament, and Evo is one heck of an event, so consider coming on down to Evo this year and playing Skullgirls during your stay!

With that said, several changes below the break.

  • General gameplay changes:
    • Hitstop experimentation
      • If you are not dashing or attacking during superflash, you can now block supers.
    • Fixed a bug where off of mid hits you weren't able to switch your block-type during hitstop.
    • New frame data display option at the top of the screen for training mode.
  • Ms. Fortune
    • Fixed a bug where comboing off Fiber Upper counted as part of the same chain.
  • Squigly
    • When Squigly does a QCF with two punches/two kicks, you will always get the fastest possible cancel for whatever level stance you have.
  • Big Band
    • Big Band announcer voice clip and selected voice clip added.
    • New Big Band palettes
      • Robocop (cartoon version)
      • Original color scheme
    • Hitboxes added to several moves.
    • Take The A Train Modifications
      • LK A Train
        • Grabs on the ground (not an overhead)
        • 0 hits armor
        • 25 frames startup
      • MK A Train
        • M. A-train will automatically do the attack when you reach the opponent.
        • 1 hit armor
      • HK A Train
        • H. A-train will go for the same amount of time.
        • 2 hits armor
    • Emergency break has a new animation.
    • Hit any punch during a-train/any kick during brass knuckles to activate Emergency Break.
    • The height Supersonic Jazz hits you has been adjusted.
    • Throw whiff is now behind the opponent.
    • Doing an air parry no longer affects Big Band's trajectory on the way up.
    • Doing an air parry on the way down makes you bounce.
 
no new news on the linux/mac port I presume, curse you shakesoda and your promise of news.
 
the A-train assists change is pretty good, I used to be able to always use Heavy and have it hit every time, this will take some getting used too
