He's not even been officially released yet, but Big Band is already starting to make waves thanks to some impressive musicians out there.

As you're probably aware, using Big Band's standing medium punch causes him to take out a trumpet and allows the player to play actual music using various combinations of punches and kicks. The Skullgirls player base immediately went to work and has been composing endless arrangements.

However, in the last few days a few particularly spectacular examples have been showcased, including Big Band's Holiday by SKT KST, which doesn't just stop with using his trumpet, but also adds in drum pedals and cymbals from the rest of Big Band's arsenal. To achieve the complex melodies in the songs, SKT KST's videos are tool assisted and use multiple Big Bands. This means they're not necessarily played by hand, but they are still an amazing showcase of what is possible using Big Band's musical influences.

IGG description and Wikia bear no mention of such thing so I'll have to question the validity of that statement as well.
Unless, of course, we're talking about the percussionist art of Chair-on-Head.


Anyway, when can we expect Big Band trumpet battle side tournaments?
- Both players with solo Big Band
- Take turns at playing a song
- Each song has to be different
- First to choke eats a combo
- After the combo, the player that attacked plays and the one who choked better think of something fast :P

The moment I saw this on Anime News Network this morning, I knew it was gonna get mentioned here. These are awesome so far, especially Burgler's Holiday!
