j.mk > j.HP (cancel) > st.LP help?

I've been meaning to get this down for a combo I'm thinking of, but I can't seem to get it right. Other people seem to get it down consistently, though, so I'm turning to you guys for help.

The full chain I want to do (or rather, I've seen other people do) is: st.HP > j.LK > j.MP > j.MK (1 hit) > j.HP (cancel/grounding) > st.LP

I can't seem to get the st.LP to combo; I've got it a few times, so I at least know it's possible. Most other times, the dummy drops out of the combo right before the st.LP hits. Ending the combo at j.MK > j.HP is apparently +13 or so, according to the Advanced Data thing in Training Mode.

Any tips would be appreciated (or whether it's too strict to even be worth trying). Am I supposed to delay the j.LK as much as possible or something? Delaying it too much makes the j.MK whiff.
