Filia Cerebella Parasoul
Since all the cool people are doing it, i guess i should make a training diary

Goals
1
learn to block! I feel like most of my losses came from poor defense so I think I should put this at the top of my goals
2 Improve on my neutral game I need to learn to press the right buttons instead of mashing like a drunken monkey
3 learn every normal and special attack in the game I feel like i should have a good understanding on every character in the game
4 Find friends I should try to make friends while i play online
5 Learn at least 2 combos for my mains (filia, bella, and parasoul)

Entry 1
I was playing around with my parasoul/bella team and i found out that i can use the napalm pillar assist to get an easy DP grab. I have also found some easy bnbs for both parasoul and bella but i feel like i should work on those combos to see if i can get more damage out of it.

One thing that really interested me was that my parasoul bnb ends with a napalm shot, i feel like i can use it to my advantage like a reset or something.

Lobby matches
After making a beginner lobby i went across a guy named Octave, we played for about 6 matches ( i won 1 out of the 6). His peacock was really tough, i could never touch him, he also plays a mean big band which was troublesome since i have no clue about his moveset. After the fourth loss, i tried to think of a way of getting through the bullet hell from peacock by using charge MK with parasoul, It actually worked and i won that match lol. I have also noticed that i have trouble getting around the stage with bella.

Accomplishments
-won my first serious lobby match
-found some easy combos to start out
-kept my cool
-got a little better at blocking (still needs work)

What to work on
-beating peacock's zoning
-finding optimal combos with bella and parasoul
-Finding the right bella assist for parasoul
-Learn more about big band
-maneuvering as bella

Entry 2
this week, i decided to mix things up and replaced bella with squigly and i felt like something clicked when i was testing her out. Her j.HP is godlike and i find myself using it 80% of the time (this might backfire one day) For parasoul, i feel like i got a little better with her, i am noticing that im winning alot more in beginner lobbies.

Lobby matches
feeling confident, i decided to tip-toe outside of beginner lobbies and went into normal lobbies. So far i feel more at home at those lobbies, there where plenty of people that i can learn from. There was this one guy who was running a parasoul/big band/Squigly team and he kicked my ass, what i noticed during that set with him is that i tend to panic when im in under pressure (getting trapped in the corner) and i end up doing stupid things such as mashing pushblock in hopes of getting some breathing room.

Accomplishments
-felt more comfortable while playing parasoul
-noticed that i can stack napalm shots after i take down someone
-learned some basic stuff with squigly
-leveled up from shit to crap tier

What to work on
-learning and countering resets
-finding ways out of the corner
-staying calm when under pressure
-overall gameplay
