I wouldn't mind having alt tracks for some of the stages, like in smash. get some community tracks in there, we've got a really talented community it would be nice to showcase some of those people.

hmmmmmmmmmm I:^I well gee i'm stumped on that one Night Phyre if only we knew of someone who made really good music...
 
they'd have to be somebody that had already been making Skullgirls-related music for a while

and could conceivably deliver studio-quality tracks on demand

and maybe even knew people at lab zero

and had a deep longing to have their music in Skullgirls

and would perform a duet cover of in just a moment's time if asked

But seriously, if alt music was something they'd talked about doing, I would definitely be all, "HEY GUYS WHATCHA DOIN' ALT MUSIC THAT'S COOL WHAT ABOUT MY STUFF THAT'D BE COOL," but it hasn't, so I haven't. Lab Zero has a ton on their plate, and alt music just feels like such a tertiary wouldn't-that-be-cool thing that I doubt it's even on the radar, much less the docket.

This would be cool to have after their IGG stuff is done :D

You deserve a nice vacation when this is said and done. All of us are thankful for you and your team's dedication and hard efforts in making this project more than what even we, the fans, expected.

I "wouldn't mind" things that have no relevance to the game and take a lot of extra work with no compensation either! Woooooooow, we're totally like wouldn't-mind brothers!

If I was able to create stuff outside 3D animation, I so would say "It's a gift. I'll even sign an agreement that I will no longer own this item and willingly gave it up for free" cause that's how cool you guys are. Me donating my free time to support som'in that's cool. That's what it shoulda been.. not how "Juju" went down >.>

can't the person just write their rights to the song away, or pay the person an honorary commission?
 
eh what ever, in the end we have this game and i think that's good enough, stirring up trouble with music licences and other stuff like the death of a sniper is not necessary to make the game good. We've already got a great game. Let's just enjoy it when all of the indiegogo goals are met.

Juju was the same idea. Just pass the rights from the fan to Lab Zero, pay tributes, easy peasy, everyone's happy.
Paperwork was had, nerves were tested, NDAs were broken. Weeks of communication efforts and PR work were thrown out of the window.

Would the same happen with fan-made music? Probably not, but the possibility is always there. It's only understandable that Lab Zero does not want to go through it again.
If someone really wants alt music tracks in his game, the previously mentioned Skullmod is always there.

Game doesn't need fan-insert stage music. Seems like an unnecessary endeavor on Lab Zero's part that has a small chance to blow up on their face. If people really want it that bad I'm sure you can mod the songs in yourself.

Will the new remix song done by Beowulf's VA be included on the next PS3 update?
 
No. Remixes done by Night Phyre fall under community things.

We're opening a temporal paradox here, folks. All aboard the confusion train.
Can we just settle this discussion by saying that
SkullMod is there for your convenience, and Lab Zero is not allowed (or probably doesn't want) to use Community stuff because of previous events. Sorry people who uses consoles, I don't think you can change the stage musics. Well, at least I don't think you can. Correct me if I'm wrong.
