Anime/Manga General Discussion

why make a second season to something that needs one like Tiger & Bunny or something like Okami-san when we can just make up new characters and force old ones to abandon the reasons they left the series at the end then we can force nostalgia to give us money?
nah, I'm not mad.
not mad.
why would I be mad?

I want more Isaac and Miria.

dude the stuff that the anime didn't adapt has some great shit
the Alice in Jails arc has Isaac, Firo, and Ladd all go to the same jail and become prison pals
it's the best

That's where you find out Isaac's not completely senseless right? I remember reading that on Baka-Tsuki years ago.

He's stupid enough that Ladd doesn't even think to trying killing him because he thinks Isaac wouldn't even notice, but he does show a lot more focus and intelligence than what you see of him before.

Still a lovable goof though

so, I finished Galko-Chan.

this was a nice change of pace series. it felt nice to go back to a more true to form slice of life without a gimmick.
all of the characters were great and the designs were varied and colorful all around.

I'd definitely recommend and I'd love to see another season if we were so lucky.

also, I am mad hype at Tsuburaya's take on the monster girl genre by throwing their plethora of monsters from Ultraman into the ring.
LOOK AT THEM! LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!
THEY MADE RED KING JUST AN ADORABLE LITTLE CORN COB!

I MEAN LOOK AT GOMORA!

I mean, they're gonna be shorts like Galko-chan, so I dont mind this.
Tsuburaya's been pumping out some quality stuff lately and this little side project is perfectly fine with me.
I mean, they made a short congratulating coming of age adults this year.

That one on the left

That's Koma

That's motherfucking pancake face popped eyes Koma (in looks I mean)

Spirit Circle, one of the better written mangas is ending soon.

Pay your respects.

Erm... Oh, you glorious series that is not dying but is probably ending on a decent note, uh... rest in piece, even though you where apparently really good and you'll still exist later, rip

Well that's a thing I guess.

Now I can cross Ultraman off the list of shows that got moe paintjobs.

i mean, it's not halting the Ultraman franchise in any way, so I think it's perfectly fine.

and at least they were kind enough to make the designs be both cute in their own right, and true to the original design of the monsters.

like, i love what they did with Gomora, Red King, and Eleking.

No I mean I didn't know this was happening and this isn't the first moefication of a kaijuu series I've seen.

Tsuburaya taking the plunge.

let's see Godzilla do the same.

J A B
1 2 3
Jojo part 4 premiered, but let's not forget that the Ace Attorney anime and Boku no hero academia are going to premier quite soon.

There was a huge 2 paragraph essay here once but I'd like to compress my thoughts:

I finally watched Little Witch Academia and the sequel: it was fantastic, a true spectacle.
Atsuko, the brown haired MC, soured it for me though; for 2 reasons: She is the type of character that I hate, and she was the complete same character over both installments. We learned additional information about the majority else that made them grow in my mind, but Atsuko did not grow as a character nor did we learn any new information. Same thing could be said about purple-hair but she was already a pretty satisfying character in her own way. I could have forgiven her thinking that she would indeed grow as a character but I just left disappointed.
It's like a good cake made with amazing ingredients in perfect balance but someone decided to use the spoiled milk.
Oh, also the mayor.

*sigh* On to finishing Galko-chan, I guess.

btw, if you havent watched Noragami yet
now you have a reason.

meanwhile JoJo is knocking it out of the park with quality.

so I finally sat down and watched Inferno-Cop all the way through.
it was alright.
like, I wouldn't say it's bad but there's not much to it aside from "lulz, lazy humor from Trigger"
Space Patrol Luluco is better IMO.
and that one has Inferno Cop as a guest character doing Kamen Rider J's hand pose.

everyone pls read sanctuary if you havent

manliness man man

that's not Inferno Cop, it's Over Justice... who's basically his boss, I think...
