I personally have high hopes for this.
they've done well with the past 2 OVAs for LWA and I feel that the style for it is their best.
fluid animation when needed and gorgeous backgrounds.

like, my only fear is that they fill it with "lolz, no frame animations!" because that would be the opposite of what everyone loved in it.

just, please more scenes of this.

In all honesty, LWA is an amazing thing by Trigger but I'm still new to them. I love stuff like Cowboy Bebop and Watamote, in full honesty. I'm reading Berserk too and that series is pretty amazing. I think Madoka Magica: Rebellion is probably my favorite non-Bebop anime. They're both real important to me.

Kusuo Saiki (aka "that pink haired dude from J Stars Victory VS") just wants a normal, quiet life
having psychic powers strong enough that he could end the world in 3 days puts a hamper on that
he cannot turn said powers off, so he's been robbed of all surprises in his life, so he is burned out on silly shit so he tries his best to just stay in the background
his wacky ass classmates and parents have a few words to say about that

So, I started watching Flying Witch.

A pretty cute laid back show so far. Can't wait till I get the episode where a girl is half pupper.

Same here! It's been recommended to me by several friends and one of them doesn't even typically watch shows like this, so I had to give it a shot at some point.

4 minutes in and this dub makes me sad.

This is worse than a 4 kids dub and I thought that was a pretty high bar to climb.
 
Okay, so I just sat down to watch the first episode. Gotta say, looks really good. They go all out with the practical effects, and its nice to see love for this form of art in this day and age. The writing is also pretty good, I like the main hero character, they male him likable without making him too perfect, and I like the designs of the main characters we've seen so far.

Now, I'm gonna finish the episode 0 thing later, but after I saw who is directing it, I'm down. Gen Urobuchi is good when it comes to sword guy media. I mean, his last anime was the best Kamen Rider show of the neo Heisei period.
