I would like to see if you guys could do me a favor. I live in this cold city called Lansing and every year this convention called Shuto Con comes around every year around April. This year they are giving us a choice to choose what tournaments are gonna be there this year(which is a first). I just want some help from the SG community to get the game as a tournament game this year. My goal is to get more people interested in SG.....also I don't want Super Smash Bros Brawl to win, but if you could vote for SG I'd be grateful.

Any idea about how many people can show up to this? This seems like a 3 and a half hour drive for me so it's kind of far, and I don't have my schedule that far planned out, but I may be able to attend. I can also help carpool if anyone else would be stopping by Indiana.

I'm not sure on the exact number, but it's like a mini Comic-Con so there can be tons of people. If you don't get your ticket early they do allow you to buy a ticket at one of the desk if you show up there.

Is there any word on any other FGs played there? I'm coming for skullgirls, but I'd like to support the other communities I'm part of as well.

Yeah dude the schedule for the other FG tournaments are on the 4th post.

Sadly I don't think I'll be able to make it. The timing of the tournament seems to be at the exact time of my local Monthly, which is small enough as is. In terms of Michigan Cons, I did hear that there was a decent FG scene at Youmacon last year, so maybe there's that down the road? In any case, have fun to any showing up here!
 
Shuto Con was awesome with Skullgirls as a tournament this year, but I just wish the prize for winning was a lot better(whateva tho). I feel it had a good turnout because there were soooo many new players that I was able to help out, but also some experienced players to(had some fun matches). Thankyou to the people who voted and thanks to the people who made it out.

Thanks dude and yeah I heard Youmacon had a decent Skullgirls tournament last year, so it should be pretty hype this year to. I'll probably create a thread for that maybe later down the road(when it gets closer to the date).

I was disappointed to find out I wouldn't be able to make this event, but I'm glad that the turnout was good. Nice work taking point on this and getting the word out!

Sorry dude sadly I don't. I can tell you that I won and this guy called Wuddha came in second. Next time I'll be sure to get the full tourney results.
