Ok now I tried out an idea that I got and boo it doesn't work either
Idea was: cLK sMP sHPx2 xx H.Shot, sLP sMP
Up close H Shot is just +6, but I figured at longer range it would get sufficient frame advantage to allow a combo after
And indeed the base idea works, max range H Shot is +9 and allows you to link sLP after (trying this ruined my Tearshot-Link muscle memory btw, ARRR)
The problem is that the followup sMP wont hit, just whiffs.. then still detonates, but detonation comes too late to combo
The only things that would hit at that range after the sLP are 6MP and 6HP; neither of these combos after sLP
So I will repeat myself: I severely doubt this is gonna work.
I found one, but you're not going to like it...

How much of a pain is sLP xx Trigger?
It's kind of a pain just because you have to steel yourself for it so quickly, and you also have a somewhat tough link to pull off afterwards. But if you've been in the groove of charge characters for a long time and can do combos like S.FP xx Flash kick with guile for instance all day, it won't be that bad to get use to.
I almost broke 7k and was wondering what I could do better, what can I add to this. Then I realized, "Silly me, I forgot the pinion dash!" :)

Just FYI, max distance cLK is weird and character specific on who it confirms on and I'm the boring guy who tested this on everyone. Probably useful for people to remember.
All Non-Beowulf characters that are crouching, LP shot doesn't combo. But seeing as this is a max range confirm on a low on a croucher who is somehow not crouch blocking, you have to be a wizard I guess to actually get into this situation. For some reason, I can't get any range where beowulf won't get hit crouching so I guess he's just easier.
So for standing characters, this is who LP shot whiffs/hits on form max range clk:
LP Shot Whiffs - Fortune, Peacock, Cerebella, Valentine, Parasoul, Robo Fortune
LP Shot Hits - Squigly, Big Band, Eliza*, Filia/Fukua*, Painwheel, Double, Beowulf*
* - Where cLK doesn't combo into cMK at max range, noted since its the usual hitconfirm. Still Works even from slightly below max range though so usually still worth doing.

I probably already know the answer to this but is there any point ending strings with Quake rather than Pillar now that Sniper Shot crumples in the air?
You have more time to set up Oki if Sniper hits a target that is grounded.
You can't convert off air sniper but you can pick up with 5LK on ground sniper for example.
Yeah I stay ending in quake for the setup. Pillar if its gonna kill.

hey new player and new to the forum, sorry to be a pain in the ass but what are her basic bnbs that I should be using? (I'm sorry looking through the pages kinda confused be on the one's I should be learning to use in a real match).
Just start really simple and work your way up.
cLK cMK cHP, jMP jHP jHK, land, sLK sMK sHP sHP xx M.Shot xx Sniper
alright so a bnb and an infinite. dont know if anybody else has found this stuff or put it into practice but i've known about this since around big bands release on beta but never bothered to post anything.
bnb does about 5.9k damage give or take:
l.p>mp>Hp Hp x l.shot > m.p x l.toss > m.k(x1) >Hp Hp x l.shot> l.p>m.p x h.toss x dash x l.k>m.k (x1)> Hp Hp x pillar x sniper.
the infinite is simple. just start off like the bnb and after the l.p>m.p x l.toss just loop m.p x l.toss x m.p x l.toss.
What makes these a bit more difficult is the timing on m.p x l.toss > m.k(x1). the infinite is more for fun but I do think there's some solid potential here for new tech and optimization all it really takes is mastery of those tight frame links.
i'd stick with the standard <snap> c.mk, c.hp, delay, j.hp double snap. Yours is cute and flashy, but it takes forever.

parasoul "to the moon!" double snaps are the best infinites
i made this mid screen combo its pretty easy to do but i wanted to confirm that its doable or if im messing up
c.lk c.mk. c.hp j.lk j.mk j.hp c.lk c.mk c.hp j.lk j.mk jmp s.mkx2 s.hpx2 napalm s.hpx2 into super

This combo is damaging and has a lot of reset points, Try it!
