This week saw the birth and explosive growth of the Skullgirls Danisen League, organized by long-time competitive SG player @keninblack! It's something that everyone reading this article should be a part of.

For those unfamiliar, danisen is a point-based ranking system wherein players gain or lose points from the victories and defeats they experience with other Danisen League members. Gaining enough points will earn you a promotion to a higher rank, and losing too many will earn you a demotion to a lower rank. With 15 ranks to crawl up, even the most competitive of players will have their work cut out for them if they want to reach the uppermost ranks... but don't mistake this as meaning only competitive players are welcome.

In the words of keninblack, the Skullgirls Encore Danisen League was created "to build a consistent way to play and practice the game, ALL while having a fun and competitive drive for it." Anyone who wants to fight is welcome, both hardcore veterans and upstart newcomers looking to prove themselves. No one is being left out, so everyone should take the time to join. And while you're at it, tell your friends!

The Skullgirls Danisen League is currently being run on the PC/PS3 versions of Skullgirls, with separate groups for each console. Check below for info!
Keninblack has said that a 360 Danisen League may be created, but only if 360 players voice their interest. If you play on 360, get on that!

Why, this seems absolutely fabulous.
I, for one, am all for a 360 group, considering I've not really played with anyone (mainly because I couldn't be arsed), and this would be a nice start.
But if not, then at least there's still the PC league.

For the league to work the best, the 360 community needs to pull in at least 10-15 people. Obviously for this to work the most consistently, having strong numbers is key, 10-15 is a good start.

The reason I just threw out the PC and PS3 leagues is because I was confident they could break double digits with very little time. Xbox i'm not too sure, but I would love to see it happen, and i'm more than cooperative with running a 3rd league for it so long as the interest/numbers are there!

Huh, this sounds pretty cool! Time to sign u-
the rules said:
-USA/Canada/Mexico only.
Welp.

Damn, let's see if this labtop can run skullgirls.

I'm not sure if this would be the kind of thing for me. Oh well, if any of you guys were to join, have a good time, I guess.

I'm still trying to get more 360 players informed about this

I noticed the topic, but this helps clarify things. Thanks. I've been playing weekends on PS3 for quite a while now, but have been finding it more & more difficult finding people to play. I'm not that great, but might give this a shot.

You should, I have to say: The more the better the competition is.

360 here, and I'd definitely support this!

Have we at least reached the minimum for the 360 yet? @keninblack

Gah I'm on 360 but have no schedule for video games even though I seriously want to play online again. Can I just say yes to help out the number

I really do want to get better at this game. Not going to happen if I don't start participating in things like this. Screw it; i'm in for PC.

I'll be stuck bottom tier for all eternity, but hell, I need the practice, so LET'S GO!

uhhh how long till 360 joins the battle

I'm pretty sure we've hit at least minimum for the Danisen League. All I do now is wait.

Once the main man notices and sees we have a good amount

Xbox Player reporting it. I would love for this to be a thing on our side of the game.

We have about 12 people that are on board for 360 is that good enough for a start? @keninblack

fuck it put me down for the 360 one too may as well see how it goes

You guys can just do it, someone make a thread for it and you're good to go.

Either way it's on you to keep it alive.
