so I'm hoping I'm not the only one having a horrible time figuring out at least his chair kick -> dash -> j.mp link. I was hoping someone would have some tips on how to successfully practice links like that. reason being is i can't figure out the timing and it doesn't look like it's gonna let me buffer the first input for the dash while I'm kicking that chair, and it's getting somewhat infuriating to try and practice it with either sporadic or just no results at all. even at 50% speed. I can't figure out where in the animation to start putting in the dash. if I wait until his foot fully hits the ground, it's already too late. any help? :(

Using LP+MP is very difficult for this if that is what you use. Try to get used to hop dash j.mp first then get used to the timing. You could try doing moves after the low chair to see when you can move.

I don't use LP+MP, I use a hitbox vs a fight-stick so I just double-tap to hop dash. but only about once in 15 times can I actually hit the low chair -> hop dash -> j.mp link. it's not about actually doing the hopdash, that's not an issue, it's about the timing of the ending of the low chair. can't figure it out.

I use a controller and double-tapping the control stick to the left or right. It took me plenty of tries to get the timing and get the opponent to stumble with S.HK after the dash>S.MP.

I use a hitbox too. I HATE that link. I can't land it consistently either, especially right now. But if you want a temporary alternative, you can do LChair jLP jLK jMP sHK. Good luck finding tghe timing! I'll practice it some more, if I find it, I'll make video to try and display the timing.

HITBOX MASTER RACE!!! lol j/k, but thanks for the alt combo. I'm getting closer to the timing on 10% speed. it's pretty ambiguous as to when the low chair animation actually ends

It is character specific. I tried it against parasoul for a half an hour and couldnt do it. Then i switched to painwheel dummy and can do it easily, almost with no timing.

Is it character specific? I've Landed It On painwheel, big band, And ms. Fortune all at least once. I assumed it was universal....dang

The timing varies sooooooo much between characters

against heavy characters especially against double. youll never land a j.mp or j.mk hop after chair, at least i never managed to while in training last night.

for heavies i do hop j.lp( or lk) and for just about every other not heavy character, j.mp hop should work.

The timing is something you need to get used to. its kinda hard to explain since i cant boot up the game. but i suggest after the chair just practice the timing of when you can hop. dont even worry about linking the hit yet. just get a feel of when you can control Beo's hop. thats how i practiced.

one you got that just add each piece and soon enough youll have teh chair - hop j.mk - s.hk chain.

if youre on late nights, thats when im usually on. Hit me up on steam for some online training practice.
