Ok so, to get this ball rolling, does anyone have any advice on taking on parasoul and/ or Eliza?

Watching dekillsage play against heavy projectiles he seems to always go chair off, then use armor sweep. Then if he gets a chance, he picks the chair up again and tosses it at the projectile user.

My question is:

Is it even possible to take on say a shot spamming parasoul consistently, using chair on (without using gigantic arm)? Seems pretty damned hard to me.

The second question is Eliza.

She out prioritises my beowulf air to air and that makes approaching her very hard. Unlike the parasoul matchup though, wulf blitzer seems much more useable in this matchup since Eliza's projectile travels so close to the ground and most don't throw them much anyways.

So what is the best way to take on these matchups?

I guess this thread never took off, but whatever...

Does anyone have advice for the Filia matchup? She's just all over me and I feel like I have no tools to stop her.

Heavies. Use chair to stun, then go juggle with heavy. I find Ms. Fortune and Filia easy once you interrupt their flow.

Beowulf has great buttons to deal with her rush down. All of your hp except c hairless s.hp is great to stuff approaches. Blitzer are great just don't be too predictable with them. Don't j.hp too often or else you'll get drilled. M chair toss is amazing as defense and for setup instead of going for a hard knockdown because putting yourself at risk for reversal is high.

Your chair is your best defense against her.

This video goes over Beowulf's matchups, albeit rather concisely. There's some crucial points here and there like how Big Band should be beat extending a lot vs Beowulf (but when I play Beo vs BB in EU I actually feel like it's in my favour, probably due to the inexperience of the opponent) People should take note of these points if they want to play / play against Beowulf better.
