    It's time... It's time... IT'S BEOWULF TIME!

After six months in the hyperbolic beta chamber, Beowulf releases today on Steam, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360! Release times throughout the day may vary per platform, but rest assured; this madman is coming to your console whether you like it or not. As with all previous DLC characters, Beowulf will be free for three months after release! If you redeem him within that three month period, you own him forever. What're you waiting for?! GO GET HIM!

    Now available on:

In addition to Beowulf, his story mode, and his two beautiful stages, this update adds an original music track for the Bath of Sekhmet stage; An Oasis of Blood, by Michiru Yamane (PC only until next patch). There's also a boatload of bug fixes and balance tweaks, as is customary of any major SG update! You can read the biblical patch notes in detail here.

Please don't post story mode spoilers in this thread.

Note: Due to issues with SCEE/SCJP, the European PSN release of Beowulf has been delayed to May 5, and the Japanese PSN release to April 30. European/Japanese players will be able to download the required update and play with Beowulf owners, but will be unable to redeem Beowulf themselves until these dates hit. Apologies!
