So Beowulf has the restriction of two grab stances per combo to avoid infinites with s.hp and such. Except that for some reason if you combo off a grab using an assist and a finisher it doesn't use a grab stance count it seems.

If I did jabs at the end of that video the character would have been invulnerable as they fell making it impossible for a follow up similar to BigBands's sound stun limitations. I assume the only reason you can get multiple grab stances this way is because the combo ender doesn't count as entering grab stance because you normally can't follow it up anyway but I don't think it's SUPPOSED to work that way? Like this doesn't seem like a feature unless Mike wants to say its a feature now.

Obviously this doesn't seem to cause too many issues because you can't create an infinite via this method (that I know of) Because if you combo off a finisher it always seems to use OTG once they touch the ground, so it isn't a huge flaw in the game but it still doesn't seem intended.

Feature that I already knew about! :^)
You're limited to one final knockdown pummel hit (P or K), the next one will make them invincible. So you get a grab finisher as well as one of those, sure. You can probably do it in the other order too, pummel release, catch with some hits, grab into finisher + assist, grab.
The main thing this is trying to prevent is corner [pummel, chairless s.HP catch] repeat forever. Otherwise anything is fine.

Thanks I wasn't sure if this was known about. I was aware you were familiar with the weird survive with 1 hp glitch with wulfamania and hype but I wasn't sure if it was the same vain of weirdness.
