Beowulf Tutorial bug.

Ran into an issue in Beowulf's Beta tutorial regarding WULFMANIA! Upon performing the tutorial, it does not allow one to progress. It doesn't register me inputting DA GRENDEL KILLA no matter how many times or which version I try. Screenshotted below:

As you can see, it just acts like I screwed up the input, when it is cleared taught and displayed as :B: :K:
I also tried this jumping with :B: :K: and :B: :P: as described in his move list with the same result.
 
I can see how this is somewhat confusing, but the commands written in the text box on the left are not relative to the direction you're facing. With (I think) one exception in Double's tutorial, they are always denoted as though you are facing right. So by the time you get to even though it says :B::K:, if you're facing left, the way it looks like you are in you're 2nd screenshot, you'll want to input it in the opposite direction. The reason you end up doing Diving Wulfdog is because once you get to that point, you're facing left, and :B::K: is actually forward+K.

We're unable to have the inputs change direction on the fly depending on which way you're facing. I would LOVE to do that everywhere.

Works perfectly fine on my end, so i doubt there's a bug.

But it brings up a different point:

Have you guys considered adding a tutorial portion that explains the idea of "right=forward, left=backward"? That might help people who are truly ignorant of fg-conventions a lot. Maybe package it with something that explains the concept of crossups as well! Add it to Basic Defense/Basic Offense, possibly?

So basically my input timing is too slow, which is causing the problem? Well at least it wasn't a major bug. That's good to know.

No, what I'm saying is that when Beowulf is facing left, Grendel Killa is executed by doing the input in the opposite direction from what is displayed.

There are a couple of sections where we will be adding text to explain stuff like this. We'll see how much time allows!
 
Has anyone else experienced the bug described in OP? We got a report of this from our testers too and I still have no problems with it on my end...
 
Yeah, after spending more time with it, it still doesn't work. I input the motion for grendel killa as it pertains to how I'm facing, and it does not work. When I reverse this, it does Diving Wulf dog instead of Da Grendel Killa, which it still says is wrong.
 
AHA. No one mentioned that the problem only occurs when you're at hype lv3. It functions properly at hype lv2. Fixing it now so that it works at both levels.
