It's finally happening, folks. Big Band. PS3. April 22nd, 2014. Lab Zero hopes to have news on the 360 version soon, so stay tuned!

Gonna blast through story mode as soon as he comes out and make a post somewhere with reactions and stuff. Hopefully, it'll have been worth the wait.
 
ohhh shit. does this mean xbox version is gonna be close too? either way hyped to finally be able to play as BB

We expect to have news about the 360 version by tomorrow or the next day, and we're really hoping it's the good kind. If it is, the 360 version will be VERY close. If it's not, then "two weeks." :P

FINALLY

That took forever. I don't see why he wouldn't hit PC the same day. Updating on Steam is like a dream, especially compared to the throttling the console makers put on everything.

Now I can force all my friends who dont use the beta into a bed, tie them down, and force them to submit to their fate of listening to a smooth freeform jazz performance!

No guarantees, but the PC version should be out on Tuesday as well.

Oh goodie, i was scared i wouldn't know that mu for the tournament i'm going too shortly at least I have a week or two to prepare
 
Huzza! Now I can enjoy playing as Big Band on PS3 without worrying about frame rate lag and overheating! Also his storymode which should also be worth the wait.
 
Does this update have everything but Fukua?

  • His storymode
  • Two new stages (Under the Bridge, Glass Canopy), edited versions of past stages (Empty Cathedral, Lab 8 (Empty))
  • All the balance changes that have been made from Encore to now
  • The ability to play as Big Band in quickmatch and not grow 40 beards waiting for someone to join
