Blazblue

If you are thinking of buying this game digitally, buy it from the Hong Kong store. JP is ¥6800 and HK$412.
Found a site that sends a email for a HK$500 for around $60

I don't think I'll be buying the game digitally. Would rather have a disc release in case I wanna take it to an offline gaming session. I don't remember how long it took me to get Okami HD from Play Asia, but I think it was more than a month.

Does anyone think they will be changing who they play for Chrono Phantasm?. I will be playing my mains Noel, Mu 12, Relius and just about every new character because they look like such fun to play.

I originally bought Blazblue CS Extend, because I wanted to play as Hakumen. Decided to try out the game again today in Challenge and Training Modes. Haven't played the game in a long time and Haku is too slow for me. I might try out Bang, Litchi and Lambda. Is Haku different in BBCP? Other than that, I'm looking forward to learning Bullet, Azrael, Litchi, Bang and Nu if I'll be playing the game long-term.

I'm here for the soundtrack mp3s and the Bullet sprite rip pack! .....What do you mean it's not out yet?! T_T

Japanese version is out, Balder. You can buy the digital version from a Hong Kong or Japanese PSN. I heard it's cheaper in the HK PSN.

I am not a Hakumen player but some of his changes seem to be that Overdrive is very useful for meter gain if used at the start of the round, Agito is a new move and Combo starter and he is still one of the best characters in the game.

Any BBCSE players know how to do Hakumen's Challenge #9 on an Arcade Stick? I can't do 2C, superjump, 2A part at all. Is there some shortcut to make him do a Superjump from a 2C?

Oh yeah, forgot something: apparently, Noel in her original outfit will also be DLC, and is able to do both her old and new Astrals. Hopefully, she'll be more like an EX character than a glorified costume, but eh.

I know. Alas, my relationship with the Blazblue series is a weird one. It's not really a game I could get into (probably because Relius is the only character I give two damns about) BUT I absolutely love the soundtrack. That said, I'm always "vulturing around" during the first post-release days just waiting to swoop and plunder.
I know the folks at dustloop usually have the graphical side of things covered.

Blazblue's OST doesn't really do much for me. The only tracks I remember are Bullet's theme, Hakumen's theme and the old version of Makoto's theme. The rest are just forgettable to me. I prefer the soundtracks in Guilty Gear.

Considering how good Gluttony Fang II is, I can only imagine how intense Terumi's theme is gonna be.

I'll just be adding Kokonoe to my list of mains. Usually I go with Taokaka and Tager.

Given that they appeared quite a few times in the opening does anyone think we will be seeing Celica, Jubei and Saya as later DLC characters?

YES!!! All my money, JUST TAKE IT!

I think they're gonna wait on those to be playable until the last game, too many DLC characters at one time will cause lots of complaining and I think there are enough DLC characters as is (though I would love to play as some of the Remix hearts characters like Cajun or Taro...)

I already main Carl, Nu and Platinum but I really want to work on Kokonoe, I just love her character and her play style, and I want to main Amane cause I enjoy playing as traps and I'm interested about his use of clothing in fighting (not to mention that theme of his).

Oh my god, Blazen used Alter Memory to create a masterpiece.

Gentlemen, Gentlemen please.
You all know they're gonna save Jubei for the last game
Just like they hinted that Kokonoe was going to be the trump card to revitalize the franchise, only to be put in play at the right time and have her be the savior of the series?

If anyone wants to play BBCP, my PSN is BrandXplus!

Bullet is <3

I went with getting cards for Honk Kong store since I have an HK account and had some money left in it.

Play-Asia seemed like the best bang for your buck. I wanted to try to add funds with my credit card through the Sony site. That only managed to get my card shut down temporarily for fraud prevention.

Kokonoe is my waifu
stay away.

i've been listening to the new english voices
so from what I've heard on various streams: (compared to the older games English voices)

Jin, Noel, Rachel, Tager, Arakune, Litchi, Carl, Relius, Makoto all sounds like they still got the same voice. Which is good.
Ragna is the same voice but is super salty angry. And swears. A LOT.
Hakumen sounds like Jin's voice but got super filtered. Its so filtered it sounds like Ragna. WHAT?!
Mu sounds like Noel. Also good. She also says as her idle "I can do this!" I like confident Noel.
Kagura sounds like a voice I heard from the Bleach dub.
Hazama/Terumi sounds good. Especially when he goes full Ham Install.
BARRET sounds like Parasoul. Is it Erin?
Azrael is complete global Azaturation.

Yeah the voices seem quite good so far, but I really want to hear is more of Azrael especially for his Distortions Drives, DC Douglas was a brilliant choice for Azrael.

I'm going to miss depressing Mu that's the only reason I ever played her.

But Nu is in and she's clearly like the best one.

I saw some more english videos

when Terumi hits Jin or Hakumen with his IK, he yells "I AM THE ONE TRUE SUSANO'O!"

I still can't get used to Hakumen's voice filters. Sure the older versions were much more obviously Jin sounding, but I kinda liked it that way.

Hey everyone, where can I listen to these voices? Y'know... I wanna hear da hype 'n stuff.

Question for experienced Blazblue players - are resets common in those games? I got BBCP and I'm enjoying it so far, despite laggy online matches with Japanese players. I need to learn to get used to the neutral game/fundamentals for BB and GG games.

It's really strange. So I have a powerlan adapter on my computer, but I've been playing with wireless via my PS3. My connection has literally been perfect with many players, but it seems I can only get games on the 64 player lobby :(

Either everyone leaves or they kick me lol

it's amazing how scared of a 0delay connection they are.

Well more details about the story mode are coming out and, well, I cannot fault poor English Ragna for being THAT pissed off.

It gets pretty rough for him.
