I tried searching for some info about the questions I'm going to post but couldn't find anything very helpful.

As a PS3 player, now that I have undizzy, I've been reworking all my combos and what not. Granted I had actually learned a few of the new combos before hand, so I have good damaging bnb's for all but one character I know. I was running Belle(lnl)Peacock(day out)Filia(updo) and always loved knowing I had an easy dhc from Argus to Gregor and could get a combo after. I'm working on learning Squigly and have her second on my team behind Peacock. After years of playing mvc3 I feel I've turned into a damage addict and always want to find ways to tack on as much damage as I can. After watching streams when I can, I've noticed a lot of people don't DHC and I feel it's because of undizzy cutting combos short. Don't get me wrong, I like undizzy and the current combo length, but I want to know if there are any DHC options out there that are worth it. I've seen DHC into cat heads and hatred install, but that doesn't happen very often.

Right now all I have is my standard Peacock bnb, but instead of ending in HP bang I use LP bang, throw out Lenny, then DHC to Daisy Pusher. c.LKMKHP then pushes them perfectly far enough away that Lenny explodes during the c.HP of Squigly for about 10k damage. Not sure where I'm at undizzy wise, but I'm sure it's up there. I've seen Peanuts vid of the 5 bar Peacock/Squigly 2v3 kill and know you can combo after the bomb so I may be able to get a few more hits in for a burst bait setup, but I don't know if the 10k is worth the second bar and throwing my team order all out of whack. I'd then have Squigly/Filia/Peacock and I don't like that order. ugh...someone help me. All the changes to this game make it feel almost like starting over sometimes. I should have been more active on the boards, but seeing people talk about using a character I couldn't made me sad.

Undizzy certainly nerfed specific DHCs like Gregor, you don't get to do a full combo into DHC into another full combo anymore. However there are still plenty of uses for them.

1. DHC into a high-damage super to finish somebody off, after you maxed out undizzy. Since DHC's partially reset damage scaling (I think to 75%?) a DHC can really hit somebody a lot harder than simply putting two supers into a solo combo. Big Band is the king of this since his Head Crush super does ~2850 damage on DHC, but other characters like Bella, Filia (Fenrir), Peacock (Argus) still do a ton of damage when DHCed into because of the 'unscaling'. Remember, super moves can never trigger IPS or Undizzy so even if the gauge is full a DHC still hits (you just don't get a follow up combo). Since level 3 supers only cost 2 meter to DHC into, you can get a lot of damage from DHCing into them too. In some cases, the optimal damage for 2 meters could also involve leaving some undizzy for the second character to play with after the DHC if you can combo off of it, like Gregor. Racking up 235 undizzy, super, DHC into Gregor into a 5 button filia ground chain into hairball into another super... can be a LOT of damage.

2. DHC into full combo off of a raw super, or similar situations. For example, even though Peacock can't do a full combo > Argus > Gregor > full Filia combo... DHC into Gregor still gives her the ability to get a full combo off of a full-screen Argus punish or confirm off of BANG BANG BANG! or any of her other projectiles. On my team, Diamond Drop > Dynamo > SBO DHC gives me the ability to confirm into a full combo from Diamond Drop mid-screen for 2 meters. Likewise reversal Pillar xx Bikes > SBO DHC gives Parasoul the ability to confirm a successful reversal into a full combo, which she can only normally do in the corner.

3. Getting a damaged character out to heal without losing damage or positioning. Pretty self explanatory.

4. Safe reversal DHCs. You already mentioned Cat Heads and Install. The beauty of both of those things are that not only do you get to make your reversal safe... you also get to totally reverse your situation and put the opponent on the defensive instantly OR if it hits you can go into a full combo. Somewhat overlooked - DHC into Lenny is a pretty good safe option, although one that is a bit more complicated to follow up on and doesn't get you nearly the amount of advantage on block that the other two do.

DHCs in are used to kill.
DHCs are used to convert off stay hits. (Argus > Gregor, Luger xx Car > Install)
DHCs aren't used as enders if they're not going to kill.
Make sure that if you are DHCing and they're not going to die, that there's a followup post-DHC that leads into a good reset.
Safe DHCs are used to reversal, but those reversal supers are not thrown out lightly. They're expensive.
