Greetings and welcome to my humble home.

I run Ask Minette, so expect a heavy dose of Dagonians in here. I've been pretty busy lately so my art levels have trickled to a halt for the most part. hopefully in a few weeks I'll be more productive.

The video was quite awesome. It was cute and funny, because how often do you see ghosts attempting to tap dance?
You got the tapping shoes to match up with the music, did you actually do research on tap dancing for that?

I didn't make the video, I just did the fanart of it!

And the dancing is based on the song 'Moses' from Singin' in the Rain, hence it matching up so well.
 
That Doublette looks like something out of Berserk. I'm expecting Guts to jump into frame at any moment and cleave it in half. 0_0

I know I said before but it's worth repeating - your nyoro~n 4Koma with Marie never fails to amuse me.

D'aw, that video of the Singin' in the Rain ghost is an instant anti-depressant. Love the fan art too! I'm a big fan of Singin' in the Rain, so that was fun and interesting to watch.

I was hoping to have finished that Feng by today, but I've been supremely busy. In the meantime I have some other art I need to get done before I fly out to the US tomorrow, so I'll be streaming again for a few hours today!

No one stops you using Twitch, but it's against their ToS, so I'll be nice :) Whenever I was doing SG NPC animations I streamed there, but aside from that I don't like to use it.

I did a bunch of art for that while I was setting it up:

I wanted to show a range of what we were looking for in the contest, so one was a serious, general costume that I thought would be fitting for Eliza and the second was a cosplay, since I'm expecting a bunch of those.
I really like the Lounge Singer! She came out nice and sleek there. Not too complicated either.
Nefer-Tina from Mummies Alive was more involved and I had to tweak the costume a bit. I didn't want to give her the big paws, claws and headdress, so they got slimmed down a bit. Right up until the end she had a skin hugging mask too, but I removed it just before submitting.

I have a pad full of designs for this so I'll scan them when I get back from the US.

These are the bases I made for the contest. You can get transparent versions of them over in the contest thread. I basically traced over the in game win poses but it was still pretty fun to clean them up.

EDIT: All done. You can see the very limited progress I made below! Ended up spending a large amount of time fixing errors from previous sessions :/

I've started a daily sketch thing. Gonna keep it going as long as I can.
Any requests for Skullgirls characters/NPCs? I'll do the first three and post them whenever I get around to scanning everything.
 
I think it goes without saying that I'd like an Aeon picture. Bonus points if you go for a more action-oriented pose instead of the majestic ones that people gravitate towards.

And therefore the Trinity is complete!

Why did I not realize the artist of the Ask Minette blog was here? Still, I really like the picture with Double and the Mother.
 
Next up is Mother at @Stonechimes request. It's a Double bill.

Kinda happy with this! I usually draw Double pretty crazily, but I restrained myself this time for the sake of symmetry.

EDIT: Woops. Forgot Mother's crown. I'll add that in now since it's sort of important :P

I recently got a Cintiq and some new Photoshop brushes so it's soooo much easier and more natural to sketch digitally now.

The first sketch was just a quick doodle to see what she'd look like roboticized and wasn't actually part of the drawing. Next time I draw her I might change the color of her fins. Probably white to blue instead of yellow to red.

She does actually have hands by the way, they can change shape into the serving trays and her final scales break down into those claw shapes to accommodate them :P
