I still remember at age 6 seeing my first fighting game my Pops and his friends were all hyped up playing MvC2 and i was just watching my dad taught me how to play his team Sentinel/Cable/Cap.Commando after that i got hooked on fighting games then Skullgirls came out on Xbox360 it wasnt talked about much so i ignored it stupid decision I liked SF4 and i hate myself for liking MvC3 at that time but both were either hard to play or heavily character dependent which i dont like seeing the same character make every other character look free i needed to try SG its cheap and i never played it before i instantly was hooked on the game but finding matches was near impossible and when i did everyone was godlike but one dude invited me to play a set and sent me a party invite (i was very surprised because no one talked in fighting games) He taught me all basic mechanics for my characters PW/Peacock/Filia but the time between then and encore update finding matches was even harder but i am a huge lab rat so training mode was the chill spot i recently got the PC version and its good to just search for a match and quickly get one so now my game list is Skullgirls, Killer Instinct, and USF4

i was originally just testing the quality of how my videos would come out but here is me playing some quick matches because i didnt know anyone to help me in a set id love so feedback and helpfull tips it would be greatly appreciated.
started a bit choppy but fixes after 2 matches

Things I need work on:
STOP BEING SO FREE
Staying calm
Dont over think
USE METER
Stop underestimating
Use your fullscreen lvl1 super to punish Squig charging
dont use sf4 logic to solve sg problems

Things I need help on:
Finding Friends: will you be one?

Eliza: Overhead dude: im afraid to sword gun cus i still might get hit afterwards is it punishable on block?

Squigs Footdive: can i not upback attack it or im forced to block it everytime?

Fukua: my strategy to stop her amazing zone options of jump fireball failed so what do i do swordgun doesnt work because of fireball bounce so...

BigBand: is (L)Brass punishable? Can max distance (H)Brass be punished by Peacock?

I'm not the best player but maybe we could play against each other since we look like we're roughly on the same level.

so um...... I wasn't playing like an idiot you were just pressing way to many buttons making baiting you really easy.

@Valentine Dunoa Stop playing top tier dawg ;^)
@mcpeanuts I don't know how to help him ;_; use your magic

I will gladly play a set with you I need to practice how to beat zoning more

I played with you with my actual Val/squig/Filia team, too laggy, and I dont deal with lag cock players.

I need practice versus solo Peacocks, or just cocks in general lmao. You seem to have the general understanding of how to play peacock, may need to tweak your bomb patterns a bit, finish your plate as far as combos go, (looks like you know them). I'd be happy to run some sets with you whenever you feel like it :). (P.S. Yes, you have to block squigs after a divekick, just block and pushblock and you'll be fine)

Whenever I pushblock the dive she's still in c.lk or overhead range and if be happy to run sets but just know that I'm Midwest

I don't remember fighting your val or squigs but I definitely remember you bodying me with Fillia /Fukua

Oh yea, you have to respect Squig's High/Low game, its really good once she locks you down. And yea man, whenever you have time just hit me up on steam.

played a set with this guy and he played Val/Double in which i have few experience fighting both but they seem to have really good resets but since the window for teching grabs is big enough for people to tech on reaction instead of guessing i didnt have any trouble with grab resets i actually forgot that you cant tech grabs while crouching (crouch teching) which i like a lot my only problem is doubles crossups because her dash is super fast but at the same time i never tried double jumoing out or airdash
lost the first couple matches because i was streaming by accident

i dont really understand bursts that well but how come J.Mk and george allows the opponent to burst safely and block?

If the infinite lasts longer than 90 frames it becomes safe to burst. And bursting against projectiles is safe. Although that doesn't explain why the burst is blue at 0:45, so there might be more to it or I might be wrong.

ooh hey you're that peacock with those crazy crossups!

i think you're doing a way better job than i am at peacocking; keep up the good work!

...i also saw the parts of the video of you destroying me hehe

When its blue does that mean they can't block after the burst?

Thanks I'm trying to be good with her but I still have to learn how this game works

Burst at 0:45 is blue because they burst s.MP...

Yeah, blue means punishable, gold means they're safe and they can block right away.

Burst at 0:45 is blue because they burst s.MP...

Well, right, but I was confused because at 0:35 it's gold from the jMK, I should have mentioned that. So I'm guessing either jMK is a projectile or their timing was just different between takes?

Ok that helps considering how I always took squiggly's lvl1 without bursting because I thought it was safe but I guess not

Yes, j.MK is a projectile. It's a separate thing that is not Peacock.

Is squiggly's c.Hp/f.Hp a projectile because its coming from leviathan or no because Leviathan is connected to squiggly???

So I'm just confirming what I've read. You can reflect peacocks: j.mk, j.hk, and s.hp based on them being projectiles?

No, cHP is an easy / simple burst bait you can do with Squigly since you can easily connect it after her level 1.

jMK yes, sHP only the second hit is the projectile and I'm not sure if jHK behaves the same way, but it probably does. On both of those moves there's the initial hit if you land it up close, and then it creates the projectile.

Edit: jHK works the same way as sHP. Only the second hit is a projectile up close.

I just wanted to know if the fire coming out counts as a projectile
Edit: Never mind I understand what you were saying
It's not a projectile because it can be used as a punishable burst bait

Well, Robo isn't entirely finished to begin with, so your opinion of her may be subject to change, although Cock and Robo are already looking to have some fantastic synergy with dhcs and assists. You also seem to play Beo pretty solidly in certain aspects as well, so I'd just play around with the two teams until you figure out which suits your playing preference more.

i havent been here in like a month but ive been in that lab 24/7 and i have too say i cant play characters that need to get in with normals bella/soul(cant set up tears and too much work)/double/fillia/fukua/fortune/squigly/band/eliza/wulf but im fine with PW but how do i include her with peacock and R.fortune Reaper? Stinger? Pin Dash? I know im using Sent Palete

if you use hp stinger assist with peacock you can lock them down in the opposite corner and be the best skullgirls player in the world

I wish but remember I'm not that heavy on the zone style I basically use the bombs as extended pokes for blockstun to move in if that makes any sense at all

alright then, i'd say your best choice would be either c.mp or s.mk. that way, you can lock them down and do all sorts of kooky stuff

so an assist that hits low(c.mp) and an assist that high and whiffs on crouch and tumbling run (H Plazma Beam) ...r u kidn me

i got to play a set with @joshb911 i havent played anything outside of training mode so it was very fun but i didnt do any of my solo tech because i was messing around with H.Beam assist and started with my side team so give me some feedback i would like to play more sets with advanced players (preferably parasoul squigly double players i have the most trouble with those characters)
my defense is really bad on analog stick a lot of accidental jumps

There was one thing that confused me from the set. A lot of times when you would place a mine as robo, you would immediately go in and leave the mine behind. What was that about?
total fear of deflector

if you ever wanna play sets w/ someone, you can hit me up if you'd like. uwu
need to learn peacock match-up anyway.
