Combo practice help.

Working on my BnB, however I have an issue when it comes to practicing them. How do I chunk them? I know I press select, however I can't overwrite that, and it is slow. I have to take my thumb off the controls to hit the button, and when I'm in the air most of the time it is impossible to pull off the save state. Any tips to create/rewrite saves mid combo?

If you hold down select, it deletes the current replay/save state, I think.

Slowing down the speed once to get the save state in the right place works pretty well for me, or you could try rebinding 'select' to an easier to reach button (such as the L2 button on a ps3 controller).
