The Potemkim flick is my favorite of all, just because he is like "you're going to throw fireballs at me?! Do you know who I am?"

What is, in your opinion, the coolest fighting game move there is?

I got a long list of favorite moves

Tekken
Nina's sadistic cupid: She basically reaches out and grabs your chest, in the process she rips out a huge portion of it
Anna's Aphrodite's scorn: Anna basically wacks you with her hip and sends you flying across the screen

Street fighter

and basically any empress heel(a grounded stomp and a female character uses to grind their heel into the opponent)

Elizabeth's Ghastly Wail in P4A. Any time I can end a combo with it, I gotta do it.
Idk how to get game sprite like above so I just got a vid. GW is at 56 seconds.

Man, if you're gonna go Guilty Gear, how can you not love the incredibly impractical instant kills? I'm a big fan of I-No, Jam, and Slayer's instant kills.

From Soul Calibur, Ivy's Summon Suffering/Criminal Symphony command throws are cool, though part of that may be how goddamn hard the input is.

Just ONE move? Ergh....
I'm gonna say Peacock's Air Throw. When I first saw it, i knew this game would be great.

But, he looks at your puny fireball and sends it flying back to you with his finger. How sick is that?
Also, Tizoc never yields to hardship.

Best instant kill in Guilty Gear IMO. When the key stares at the screen like "Yeah I killed you, deal with it" at the end, that's when you know you got destroyed.

I was about to mention this. She just sucks you into a void. And that key has seen some stuff.

It was Criminal Symphony in SC2. I'll be damned if I learn you kid's new fangled names.

Naw booboo, it wasn't(maybe in japanese but not in english)

It was Criminal Symphony in arcade SC2 (which actually had movelists and a training mode). It got changed to Calamity for the US console version and all future versions.

I LOVE Vice's sleeve in King Of Fighters...

AND POTEMKIN'S JUDGE GAUNTLET, THAT FUCKING MOVE IS AMAZING IT MAKES ME SO FUCKING HYPEGTRFYGRADFAXYGESD

I don't use Q's super 2 often, but when I do, it's so that I can see my opponent go flying into the stratosphere with a double-handed slamdown onto their forehead. (happens at 5:10)
Honorable mention goes to Oro's command attack-throw. This old-ass man just grabs you by the scruff of your shirt, and tosses you around like a ragdoll.

I read that as fighting game movie and I came in to make a joke about mortal kombat.
Appalled I'm the first to say this on a skullgirls forum, but:

You should all be ashamed.

I actually am Horseman. That move is hilarious.

Gotta agree with horseman here, I don't play many fighting games but that Super has to be one of my favorite one ever.

Justice's Michael Sword in GG always seems cool to me.

And every "flurry of punches" special/super always is awesome. Like Stands in Jojo, Big Band's taunt super for example.

I would link Jacky's backflip from Virtua Fighter BUT I CAN'T FIND AN IMAGE OF IT!

+1 for summon suffering/criminal or calamity symphony. Those were the first moves i thought of and lo and behold already mentioned twice...

Honorable mentions are:

Liu kangs bicycle kick.
Jaxs ground pound.
Subzeros mk1 fatality.
Sf4 t hawk U2

and last but not least, the greatest sound bite ever recorded:

MIZOGUCHIS FIREBALL.

The name you're looking for is "Blue Slider."

what if you turned both of them into one move

No, I mean the move is called "Blue Slider." Gliding Ram is what the people who wrote the USA manual for Oratorio Tangram put; a needless name change by people who weren't supposed to be doing localization changes of any kind. A bunch of other attacks suffered, too-- the railgun's name is "Radical Zapper," the rifle is "Neutral Launcher," Fei-Yen's <3 Beam is "Emotional <3 Meltdown," and all the She's Lost Control references were removed from Cypher.

edit: It would be like if Shoryuken/Dragon Punch were called "Spiral Skypunch" in the USA version of SF2. Then again, such changes are Capcom as Fuck (Akuma > Gouki, Bass > Forte, etc).
