So this is happening. Registration form should be going up within an hour or two, as Kineda is still double checking on a couple things. I can't guarantee a start time yet, although Kineda requested that we go after the Ultra Street Fighter IV Teams tournament just in case there's overlapping people. I'm guessing this will be late afternoonish.

We will most likely get some stream time for our Top 3 or more. I told him that our Top 3 would take around 20-25 minutes with a bracket reset (Is this accurate? I was going off of how long the ECT and NCR Top 3 took). This does mean we need to get some entrants more.

Setups as always are Encouraged. I can guarentee at least three between myself, Biz Casual, and Beamsprouts' PS3 setups. I think Clawmaster mentioned he may have a setup too?

Please try and make it out to this event!

Yeah we're good for stream. I'm bringing my recording setup anyway just so we can get everything at least locally recorded.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it's walking distance from Milbrae BART station, which is a big plus for me.
Lowest reg. fee at $5. :)
I haven't gone to a tournament since SF3:TS/CvS2/MvC2 many years ago, but will consider this.

The schedule for the event has been released! Says we start around 12pm and says we'll do Grand Finals at 4pm. It's bold so it makes me think we get stream time. I can't confirm this. A certain other someone has to.

If you were planning on going you should probably register soon. Pre reg closes on Friday and we still need entrants. So the sooner the better.

sorry I can't register until my ride is confirmed which I am trying to get done today. It is highly likely.

did you register?

I suck at playing and I'm planning to just be watching. Should I register anyway just because?

did you register?

Not yet due to a possible schedule conflict. My church needs me on videocamera for more of the Christmas shows this weekend than I was expecting (six shows- today through Sun eve). Wish the shows were next weekend. I could get someone to replace me, but I've also got the early stages of a cold (housemate's kids).

So I'm still deciding & will have to pay extra for missing online today if I go. Hopefully this won't affect the overall showing. I'm curious how many will attend. Also, congrats on NEC vs. the big names over there. You might be a winner here!

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and let kineda know that we may have someone registering late.

@cybik Thank you so much for entering, it really helps. This tournament is a GO

What did they do to Filla and Parasoul lmao? And I guess Fukua. I haven't really payed attention in so long :(

So just a heads up, we're going to have about 3 setups. Plenty to run the tournament on, but for Casuals I want to introduce a rule: Play a best of five/first to three set if someone wants next on the setup, then the loser rotates out. If nobody is waiting to hop on then do whatever you want, but I want to make sure that everyone gets a chance to play.

Getting my ass handed to me was decent fun :D

Who took it? Is there a bracket?

Uhh it's a shame you guys couldn't get on stream. Did someone need to go home early or something so you had to finish GF before stream time? Or were you guys like, "Well the other tournaments are running 2 hours late so fuck it, we'll just finish out our tournament and go home"?

Jayford won. Fast Turtle second. Dolfinh third.
It was the latter. People had other things to do and they kept delaying us.

Were the matches at least recorded? I'm kinda sad they didn't make time for the top 3 it would only take at most 40ish minutes if all matches were time-outs (if I did my math right).

GGsssss guys. It was fun :3

You know, it sucks cause every other game got stream time, even umvc3 that had the same status as side game.
