There will also be exhibition matches for Marvel and Guilty Gear on Stream!

We may run side tournaments as well. If you are interested in hosting one please post up!

$5 venue fee!

All tournaments are Double Elimination
1st 60%
2nd 30%
3rd 10%
of prize pool.

If less than 8 players show up for any game it will be a Round Robin Tournament. Top 2 Players will be put into Grand Finals and payouts will be 70% 1st 30% 2nd

You know what I just realized? I might actually be in NE to go to this. Hopefully I can get a ride from my parents to Fitchburg or Lemonster to make it out!!

@dMags yeah you right D_D lived 20 minutes from there my entire life no idea how to spell it........ I'm taking the entire week of Christmas off so I'm gonna try to fly in on 18th. I'll talk to my parents about it and I'll text you when I know the details and stuff

so since i apparently have the weekend off ima go try to go to this. of course they might just be like "wait we messed up your schedule"

As a heads up guys, keep in mind this tournament will be taking place at a mall one week before Christmas. Plan for the worst traffic you've ever had on the way to GU and expect to have trouble finding parking.
 
What if I don't believe in Christmas? Do I still have to plan then? By the way I'll probably be there a couple of hours early this week because of silly train schedules, does that work for you Peanuts?

It is in fact optimal. Okay that leads directly into the next thing I wanted to talk about. Check this out everyone:

So here's what's really really good. I talked with Lucky D about the tournament schedule and stream schedule last night. He basically wants to try to get stream time for all the games that don't always get it. Part of the way he's doing this is having no stream time for Street Fighter 4, which is his favorite game, so this is a super big favor he's doing for us. In order to get everything he wants to stream on stream, though, he NEEDS to stick to a strict schedule.

The tournament is going to start at 1pm which is to say at one in the afternoon. I really would like to get the game on the main stream (which I also wanted to do at the last two locals), and there's also the other stream games to consider, so I am actually going to be strict about starting this on time. If you're going please plan to be in the building at 11am if you do that you will have no trouble being there on time even if you hit traffic or whatever. Please don't make me start the tournament when there's only two SG players in the building cause I'll do it but I'll cry. Don't make me cry.

Oh B.T.W. can anyone bring a PS4 setup? As always I'll have mine and we should only need 2 for the tournament to go quickly.

I'm gonna be coming straight from school so I'll have my monitor in the car, we don't need an extra do we?

I mean we need a setup, a monitor is one half of that. The store has monitors but I wouldn't want to rely on one of them being available, they tend to go fast.
 
Who's still going? A ton of people have cancelled last minute, I'm trying to figure out if it's even still worth it to run a tournament.
 
Zid and I are going. idk about getting there by 1pm. he should be on the way to pick me up now so we miiiiight get there on time.
