I read your post saying they're looking into it, but I wasn't sure if it was confirmed or not.

Besides the top 3, the voting seems to be pretty close

Yeah they were and the slide even said it, but Hayashi just straight up said it will be supported like it was a fact lol.

Yes all my favorites made it in!!!! Helena just barely made it but she's here! Actually Honoka and Tengu are the only ones I don't care for. I'm indifferent about Kasumi but she has to be in cuz its her game. Actually I don't see the appeal of Tengu. Dono how she made it in so high.

Brief gameplay footage. Obvious NSFW disclaimer, but you wouldn't be in this thread to begin with if you were worried.

Game is set for late Feb 2016 release. As of interview game is 18% complete. Volleyball and Butt Battles confirmed. Said more events compared to previous Extreme games.

Also PS4/Vita boxart was revealed. It has Marie Rose/Honoka on both of them

Theres promoting then there's shoving it down our throats.

Is it bad I feel like they're pushing marie rose and Hanako a little too much? Maybe but I'm being a hater but I don't like marie rose and I find Hanako boring. To me their fan bait that's it.

I thought Kasumi was the main girl.
 
I like Marie Rose but I ignore Honoka, I can totally see your point though.
 
Well another problem I have is that (and correct me if I'm wrong) they have no story behind them which is why I don't like them. They were DLC characters I no nothing about and they're being treated like main-stay characters. It's hard for me to like a character when I no nothing about them.

Well Marie is sort of a maid to Helena? which is good enough for me and Honoka has some relation to Raidou? IDK and I don't care. Wait Marie and Honoka are on the actual box, this isn't like a collectors edition or alt box? Thats pretty dumb. Way to throw your main girl under the bus for a new one.

This is why I think Team ninja is pushing them a little to hard, Also maid to Helana? That's it and what relation to Raidou? This is why I don't care for them much because the lack of indvidual story modes in DOA5 didn't help explain them much.
 
Only reason they are being pushed is they are making the most money for them. Why else would relatively new characters kick out vets and even mascot tier characters like Kasumi/Ayane?
 
Yup. Marie and Honoka are the new cash cows. Gotta replace the old with the new.
At least now I won't feel cheap for having the (former)poster girl as my main.
 
Honoka gameplay-wise is a clone of a bunch of characters. I agree they were better off promoting the vets over the new characters.

Hitomi in her first appearance is as young looking as they should go.
 
I know girls who were/are 18 that look way younger, all I'm saying its possible.
 
There is a sliver lining the game has English subtitles.
While the PS4 is not region locked developers are the ones to decided if their games will be region locked or not so its unknown yet if its region locked to my knowledge.
Also f you would want to buy DLC for the game you would need to create a Japanese PSN ID.

If you're getting the Asian version that has English subtitles, you would need a Hong Kong account to get the DLCs.

lol not surprised with how political 2015/2016 is now that effects everything here. Another "miss the good old days" moment.

Asia copy will have english subs still.
 
Now call me crazy but I think this is all a marketing ploy.
Hear me out the creator said if the demand is high enough they will bring it over and whats the best way to cause demand? by denying us the ability to buy the game.
 
Eh could be true. could be they never cared about bringing it to the west after the backlash from doa5. Money is money though, pretty sure DOAX 1 and 2 sold alright and Senran Kagura does OK. Who knows.
