Doesn't everyone love Sonic? - The Sonic the Hedgehog thread.

I like eggman's new look. it has a mix of new (eggman) and old (robotnik) and gives him the look of a baron.

and again, all I want from new nuckles is calves to show where his legs bend. thats the only thing its missing.

also, I love the tape. tape for everyone!

Actually, let me know if you find any extra rolls. The Egg Man I posted on the previous page ran into some problems.

a friend of mine said it was about someone killing themselves. but now that I've taken the time to look it up, it seems that humpty dumpty has been given lots of different interpretations.

You're not alone actually. My friends used to think the Crooked Man was a serial killer, and that Mistress Mary grew her garden on top of the bodies of dead maids. It's crazy how dark a child's imagination can get.

And yet, parents still blame video games for corrupting kids?? lol
 
I just want to be clear, I was never ever a fan of the Sonic franchise. In fact the only Sonic game I ever played front to back was Sonic Rush. The only thing I ever liked about the games was the gameplay, and even then it was rarely that good. I never liked the plot, the setting, and the character designs, especially the character designs.

Therefore, Sonic Boom is a huge step up in my eyes, I might actually like it.

I was going to post the adventure time scene where they think little jack horner is a black magic incantation, but I don't think it's on youtube, so just pretend that I did that.

I don't get the bandages, but they don't bother me much. Knuckles's redesign kind of weirds me out because it just looks like they took his old head and put it on a new body. I'm cool with Sonic's design. I'm cool with Eggman's design. I like Tails in his engineer outfit, I think it's cute. I like Amy's new look, and I'm interested in seeing how they handle the character.

So yeah, I'm curious. After Sonic X, there's nowhere to go but up.

You're really optimistic. Knuckles' keeps killing it for me... just... make him a BIT shorter and I'll live. PLEASE

The only thing that sat wrong with me was the whole reboot thing. Now that that's been cleared up, I think I'll give this a chance. Hell, I'm defiantly gonna catch the show (as AoStH is what introduced me to the series in the first place) and as always I'm gonna try the game first before I make a decision on whether it's good or not (a policy that sadly forced me to play 06 before I jumped on the hate train). The designs don't bother me that much, though I have a feeling some one might make a form change crack at one point or another. And is it just me or does the cartoon have a TMNT 2012 feel to it style wise?
 
I see it too. Little bit of sly cooper in there too.

Nah, I'm with you too. The way Toad looks in that sketch actually reminds me of his personality on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show, and that's still my favorite version of the little guy. I'd be down for anything that would bring him back to his former wisecracking glory!

On that note, I also gotta say that AOSTH probably had my favorite version of Robotnik, aside from the comics. LJB had such an awesome voice, and I loved the ways they let him show it off. I hope they try to make the Eggman/Robotnik character nearly as memorable in this new iteration.

Only if they swap Luigi with someone else.
Being the big tough guy is literally the exact opposite of Luigi's personality. I would rather him be left out entirely for Bowser or someone than be all muscular like that. It's about 500x as bad as with knuckles because at least knuckles doesn't have to pull a 180 with his personality to fit the new body...

Just let Luigi keep his old personality. It would be great, him being this huge buff guy but still a scaredy pants.
