So, in about two weeks, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (Or E3 as many many people call it) will be upon us, and simply shower us with information about games already announced, brand new games, or just information in general.
So keep talk about anything you're hyped about, looking forward to, or hope to see in here!
I fondly remember the E3 2013 thread from last year, hope this one will be half as fun as that one!

Oh, and I'm not sure if the Nintendo Digital Event will have it's own thread. It could fit neatly in here too.

As for things I'm looking forward to, I hope we get something about Uncharted 4, or God of War 4
 
I want to see if that NeoGAF leak we had a while back is legit or not. If it is, NEW WIPEOUT GAME YES.

If not, eh. There's bound to be other awesome things on display.

I dunno if I'd consider last year's Sony conference a "beatdown" really. All they needed to do was stand on the other side of the room and watch Microsoft go through this.

As for 2014, I'm pretty sure there's going to be a lot of buzz about Oculus and Morpheus stuff, but probably not much to show yet. If Nintendo has interesting things to reveal, in addition to Smash news, then I think this could be one of their better years in a while. It also seems like there are going to be a lot of Kickstarter funded projects on the demo floor, so the new blood might be stealing a bit more of the spotlight this time.

Personally, I'm just wondering if Valve will have anything more to say about the Steam Machines. It seems as if those things have gone through a ton of iterations so far, including the controllers, so I wonder what kind of PR is being planned for them. It might almost be too late to explain the machines in 2015, if people haven't already been following the articles.

But you are right, as people have pointed out, it was more like Sony threw an awesome laser show over Microsoft's grave.

Me, myself? I expect a couple things.
Mortal Kombat 10, God of War 4, maybe Persona 5...
My biggest hope is something like a surprise, like maybe another Playstation crossover game? Or maybe a PS4 pricecut (or at the very least, a new bundle)

See a trailer for Left 4 Dead 3, but I'm not holding my breath on that.
 
That's a pretty decent Bingo, but hm. I've seen better.

I'm not sure why people think we'll get Last of Us 2 so soon, I'd give it another year or two before we see it at E3.
 
There's a rumor that at the end of Sony's press conference they might show a short teaser for The Last of Us 2. I'm not sure if they will or not because it's a rumor, but it would be cool if they did.

But I wouldn't hope too hard, ya know.
remember we're getting Last of Us Remastered this year.

Also, some interesting information!
Ed Boon's been counting down to something on his twitter, and on top of that, there's posters with a spine, and the text "Who's Next?" With the MK Logo.
And not only that, the Facebook page is up.

We're definitely getting some Mortal Kombat 10 stuff, people
 
I'm hoping this E3 will show me something to captivate my interest, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Really, I can't think of any new games that are coming out soon that interest me at all, except I guess Oddworld New n' Tasty. And I want to believe that Battlefront III will be good, but deep down I just know EA's going to screw it up and that it's going to be very bad.
 
Ya it's coming out soon, sometime around the summer I think. Also forgot about Hotline Miami 2, that's coming out and I'm looking forward to that too, so I guess I take back my comment of how I'm not looking forward to anything.

I'm so not hype for E3 this year. Like I'm opposite of hype, I'm waiting to be disappointed.

All the previous years have been getting worse to me. It's less and less gameplay footage, more cinematic "teasers" from further and further away. I'm excited about Phantom Pain and Bayonetta 2. I'll guarantee I'll be bitching somewhere about all these boring shooters again. Anything Smash 4 reveals will be buried in my thoughts that the gameplay will be Brawl-bad (tripping wasn't the only thing awful).

EA's presentation will be shit even with Star Wars Battlefront. Why would I be excited for it after Battlefield?
Ubi's presentation will be shit.
Activisions's presentation will be shit.
Microsoft's presentation will be shit unless that Platinum Games rumor from last year is true.
Sony's will be PSNow and shooters (Uncharted, Order) and indies.
Nintendo has Bayonetta 2. They win E3.

Sounds like last year's E3.
 
Honestly the only thing I'm looking forward to during E3 is new Smash trailers/info and maybe a new Metroid.
And of course that Smash demo at Best Buy.

Anything beyond that is extra.
It's like setting low expectations, but with optimism.
 
Well, then. Pigeon Dating Sim for E3 game of the year?

Microsoft's E3 conference will begin in about 4 minutes.
 
I'm not sure if i'll be able to watch anything until the Sony stream, so if you guys could keep notes, that would be golden.

Microsoft's Conference was alright.
But only two or three of their exclusive games caught my eye.
Those being Sunset Overdrive and Fable Legends.
Everything else is probably on PS4.
You know what pisses me off though?
Pretty much EVERY GAME SHOWN THERE
HAS XBOX EXCLUSIVE OR TIMED DLC.
I HATE THAT SHIT

But yeah, the only thing I want that showed up at the conference was Sunset Overdrive.
 
Well that was boring. Wasn't expecting much anyway. Bring on Ninty and Sony. Speaking of Sony, All-Stars 2 got leaked. Kthen.

I actually kind of liked Microsoft's press conference. Some of the games looked pretty cool like.....

Sunset Overdrive
Assassin's Creed Unity
Phantom Dust
Halo Master Chief Collection(that multiplayer looked awesome)
Scalebound
Killer Instinct Season 2(even though they didn't show the trailer on stage)
The Division

The only thing I hated was how they showed Conker in Project Spark. I honestly want a whole new Conker game, but aside from that Microsoft did decent. ALSO THANK GOD NO KINECT TALK.

So far those are the games I plan to buy(especially Sunset Overdrive). Now I will patiently wait for Sony to take the stage.

It MIGHT have been leaked. We'll have to wait for the conference in a couple hours in order to be sure it wasn't faked.
 
I was actually pleasantly surprised by Microsoft's conference. I kinda want an Xbox One now.

Also, TJ Combo is hype!
 
They also teased the return of Cinder.
 
The only thing about the xbox one exclusives is that I can see at least some of them heading over to pc later a la dead rising 3.
It makes me really want to hold off on anything xbox related because I would much rather play the eventual pc port.
 
If it was real, the PS All-Stars section of the logo would actually look like the PS All-Stars Battle Royale logo.
