1. you trying to say that if Eliza is in the corner, that the best move for her to do keep away would be j.hk? eh if I were to be jumping in the corner I would j.hp, air dash cancel into another j.hp it covers a nice amount of the screen and it doesn't push Eliza backwards farther into the corner.

2. Now if some one is jumping in on Eliza they are going to have very easy time taking her out. Eliza's DP is horrible at point blank range, her servant summons are too slow and would be easily countered. You only best bet would be Light Osiris Spiral, it covers a fair amount of vertical space ( Be careful it's hitbox does not cover the top of Eliza's head so somebody could still smack you if they are spaced just right.) , it comes out at an okay speed, and depending where you hit them you can follow up with s.lp jabs into a full combo. The only other move would be Sekhmet's Turn but that costs meter and is a high risk for if your opponent were to block the incoming attacks they could grab punish you.

Eliza is purely offensive the second she has to defend she is going to have a tough time, even more than Big Band. At least with him he can parry jump ins.

I really don't get the first part but j.HK wouldn't be bad if you could bop them with it I guess... to get out of the corner. Dunno why you want to keep away with it though?

5MP is the best anti air she has. 5HK kinda works too and Upper Knat timed late works, LP for jumpins, MP or especially HP as a wall to keep them out of the air at range.
 
Eliza 9.5k corner combo, you end up with 3/4th of a meter less than you started with.

Yo, I've been having trouble connecting the s.hk after the chair because it's not juggling in the air with me. Any advice on timing the chair? Also, does this work on anyone besides valentine?

make sure you time sekhmets part like this: jMP (slight delay) jHP, makes them bounce higher, therefore youre able to hit the couch earlier and so they bounce higher for the followup sHK.
also make sure to summon the couch as soon as you regain control of eliza, the timings annoying sometimes.
Should work on every light character, doesnt work on heavies (para, bella, eliza, band, double)
 
any bnb sekhmet combos the ones I iaved tried are too long and hard( no pun intended) I need something easy to practice then go for the hard stuff
 
you looking for combos that use sekhmet in them, or combos that are only sekhmet doing things?

Eliza Eliza vs. what I always believe to be Nina Painwheel :p (corner burst bait)
Dio Eliza vs. Valentine for copyright infringement (corner burst bait)
Cleopatra Eliza vs. Parasoul (corner counterhit combo)

Ignoring the actual combos, if you are going to record things like that make sure that when you load state and record you aren't hearing them finish their ground tech VO and reply, it sounds bad.

I'm not in charge of editing. I'm leaving enough room for that though.

I'm also ass at timing things. Might need to give myself a cue like tapping s.LP so that when I'm editing and moving the video frame by frame I'll know when to start and stop. I'm stupidly new at recording things.

Much better, @Mike_Z? While the usefulness to your research might be minimal, I used a neutral jump then waited a couple of seconds so as to give me a cue where to cut. Did that help?

yellow flash gave me a pretty basic beginner eliza combo

j lk, j mp, j hp>adc>j mp, j hp. The j lk

i was debating if i should extend this combo with a few extar moves for damage or leave it as is

id like to point out that when i do this move j.hp knocks light charcters back and im too far to continue combo is anyone having the same problem or is it me doing something wrong

You need a slight delay after j.MP to get them to land on the ground.

i cant seem to pull it off ive keep trying and trying cant get knock down so i guess for now ill keep the combo like this

You can do c.hp(1)>L twirl for slightly less damage. Also after twirl it should be slk>c.mk(2). For the beginning, you can use shpx2>Dive instead of the c.hp because the bounce from that is obnoxious.

i kinda like c.hp xx dive. The high bounce means i have time to decide if i want to go for (my) max damage or go for resets.
 
Yeah I guess. It just kinda messes up my timing for the followup. But like what kind of resets can you do off it? They ground bounce before recovery.
 
you can restand with j.mp stuff low to the ground and have plenty of reset chances. you can also do a j.lp sekhmet, j.mp sekhmet for weird crossup mixups.

Ahhh, it's alright. The third tag is not universal at all anyway so I'll live with being able to tag back and forth once in a combo =-P

Tag is one move. Doing it will take you to IPS Stage 5... So tagging back will trigger IPS on hit because tag was used.

Might be wrong.

Nope, you're not wrong. Just tried doing it with Double/Eliza. Oh well. I'll still have the ability to easily switch between the two with tags. Optimism.
