It's this weekend (July 11th) if you didn't know.
It's the biggest Fighting Game event on Earth. Maybe the stinkiest.
There's the Indie Game showcase and Panels again this year.
Madcatz has a booth there, they have a stream and will be showcasing some things.
EVO is doing the scholarship fund again by making the streams have subscriber options with exclusive emotes.

I'm quite interested in those announcements.
Seems like it changed though, now we're getting an annoucement after Killer Instinct? Pretty sure that's a new trailer for Cinder or something.

Meanwhile, we still got an announcement after Melee...
New character?
Probably not. Who knows?
 
My predictions:

USF4 will see Ricky O, Jwong, PR Rog. Snake Eyes will be my favorite to watch, I want to see him get far. I don't know if Sako is coming. Xaio Hai, Xian, Gamerbee, Kazunoko, Daigo will be my other picks.

UMvC3 I just want to see Zero fuck shit up. I want to Zero/Dante teams. I also want to see Viper teams but that's asking for too much.

KoF 13 won't be as fun to watch without Reynald. Tokido and Xian are my favorites here.

Smash will be fun.

DGAF about the other 4 main games. Sonic Fox is gonna whoop ass at Injustice though.

Kazunoko will win the GGXXAC+R side tournament.
 
And before anyone asks, Atlus is the one bringing Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, not Aksys.
 
Why would anyone ask? Aksys isn't the one localizing Ultimax.
 
KoF13 evo is fun and all, but I am so sick of seeing Iori and Mr. Katate. I hate mirror matches....

I havent seen ALL of them, but I really wish Leona could get some love. ;w; she's one of the best defensive characters in the game!

Tekken 7 leaks out...and whatever announcements we get later today.
 
I mean, I don't mind the DLC characters being used, but in the championship match, the first thing I see is both teams have Mr. Karate and Iori with flames, on both teams, with only one different character on both sides.

that's been the situation with kof since like a year or two tho at majors...karate, iori, and x character the player likes. It's the top tier team of choice.
 
which is why I always root for the guys who don't pick the sames. I love Mad KoF's team. and his losers match with Yoshi was more entertaining to me because neither of them used the same characters. diversity is way more fun if you ask me.

like, the Finals 2 years ago was just magic. why can't that come back?
 
because metagames change as a game ages making older characters obsolete as new safer options are found. Like we obviously will never see as much wesker as we saw in week one marvel 3. Because we've learned that vergil does everything wesker does but better.
