Final Fantasy XV Recommended System Requirements
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.7 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 11GB Video Memory
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
  • HDD: 170GB Available hard drive space
  • DX: DirectX 11
This is a joke, right?

I think this is the first game I've seen where a Ti is Recommended, jesus christ.
And 170 GBs? It isn't even that much on the damn PS4!
Some fuckin' (PC) Master Race!

170 GB
This is the part I can't get over, I expect stupid unoptimized bullshit at this point (though usually not to this extent) but this is a new fucking level. Thanks Square.

Mate, anyone who has any involvement in platform wars past the age of 12 should not be taken seriously.

So apparently the devs of Dissidia want 50+ characters in the game.... We've only seen 24...

Yeesh that's a huge roster. I should enlarge my wish list.

They've said that everyone playable in Dissidia 012 (barring Feral Chaos for size reasons) is coming back too

but that 50+ thing is, like, across the game's lifetime, not on launch or in the first year or anything. They want Dissidia to be a long running e-sports type thing, something to support over a decade or so

Oh, so overwatch/Moba style updates to the roster. Still, lots of time for wishful thinking

Speaking of Dissidia. I got into the beta that just started. It's a shitload of fun, but very intimidating at first. The tutorial kind of sucks but once you play a few online matches and start to get the flow of it, it's a blast. Definitely getting my purchase

I'm still a bit saddened it won't have a PC version. imagine all the de-nomurizer mods we could get

Ultimecia is the next returning villian.

Sooner or later they've gotta get to adding that FFXIV Chaos Rep.
Who's the most likely candidate though? Most of the big bads are really freaking big. And those that aren't are super FFXII esque.

They almost used Gaius Van Baelsar instead of Y'shtola, so his foot is already in the door.
However, they could also use:
Lahabrea
Nael Van Darnus (Would also double as FFXIV 1.0 Rep)
Zenos Yae Galvus

If they add Lahabrea's dumbass I'm gonna fly to Japan and throw eggs

Gaius all the way

I want Vivi, Barret, Prompto, Sabin

Steiner too but that will never happen

I Want Dissidia for PC :(

Why else would you put anything on PC

people wanna see Jecht's dick that bad, huh

Really though, if it came to only getting ONE FFXIV Chaos Rep I'm honestly not sure.

I listed Lahabrea because despite him being a jobber, he's the one Ascian you fight near consistently, and Ascians are (Unfortunately) still a major plot point, and his playstyle could be unique

But then you got Gaius Van Baelsar who's cool as heck design wise, and has some good motivations, but he also had some major jobber moments before jumping into Ultima Weapon, though, his EX Burst mode could be him getting the golden pimp armor he got before getting in Ultima Weapon (Plus, he was on the friggin' cover of FFXIV Original)

Nael Van Darnus would also have a unique playstyle as well as a good EX Burst, but most people wouldn't really know who she is, and her story is basically lost to 1.0 and a Raid too hard for most players to indulge in nowadays

Zenos Yae Galvus would, again, have a cool moveset, what with the three swords and implied Bushido/Samurai Swordplay, but the major issues with him is that he's the major villain of Stormblood, which isn't even 3 months old yet, his moveset as well as some other tidbits would more than likely be spoilers, and I think the window for spoilers with a Dissidia character is rather large (2 years, I'm guessing?)

So Realistically I still think Gaius is the most likely choice.

Gaius makes the most sense
plus you could give him Magitek bits

Bits are fuckin' rad

Do you guys think ffxiii-2 and lightning returns count as separate entries from xiii? Xiii doesn't have a villainous contender since we had Mecha Pope in the original. Caius makes a ton of sense, but I also hope Lightning gets her returns incarnation since the one we have now takes her moves from Odin

If FFXIII Gets a Chaos Rep, I think it'd have to be Caius or the Evil Snow.
Like, there is nothing marketable about an Evil Pope in FF's target audience, or Orphan, because that's too damn big and abstract.

Plus, Caius does have some marketability, his story and motives are one of the better things about that whole unnnecessary trilogy.

The question is, will FFXI Get a Chaos Rep either? Because iirc, that game has no notable villains, it's not like FFXIV Where the story happens to be at the center of a good MMO, FFXI's story was standard pre-WoW MMOs.

Magitek Bit set-ups would be pretty kickass
They'd still have to take care to make him distinct from Judge Gabranth, though.
But he only uses one, sleek Gunblade Rapier, I don't think it'll be that hard.

better idea

delete lightning

delete all 13 content

even the stage, which is just a big rectangle. an actual hallway.

just add Sazh and Barret
make team Gundads with Laguna (or Jecht for a different type of guns)

Ok correction; its a racetrack, not a hallway

Secondly, fxiii was fine imho (I got my fill killing all those side bosses, sorry for those who wanted to race chocobos or whatever.), but FFXIII-2 and Lightning Returns had way more content that I don't know why people dont talk about.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 also did the Chrono Trigger path of doing things and have time travel that's good and meaningful while also spattering some cool alternate endings here and there
(All of which are canon and come back in Lightning Returns)

the sequels wound for how much they kick sazh around
he didn't deserve that shit at all

I think the game is ok, but it lost alot about the games that I did like.

I'd almost rather redownload 012 and play it again tbh

Noctis is finally confirmed.

We can fight summons also.
