Hey guys. It's me, McPeanuts. @Kai and I are running an online tournament this weekend. It'll be this Saturday, March 12th, starting at 5pm eastern time (2pm pacific). I'll buy the winner lunch at Combo Breaker. Post in this thread if you're interested in entering.

This is the third and final in a series of fundraising streams for #SendTheWorldToComboBreaker. At the time of this posting the campaign has raised $2,196, which is enough to send 159man and zeknife. The next goal is Yaya, to send him we need to get to $2,700. You can view the campaign here:

Dude you can't just run another tournament that legally decides all ranking forever that would make no sense and defeat the point. That said I have big plans for Extra Life 2016 so get excited for that in like 8 months

Oh lol. Yeah I forgot to do all that. Standard tournament rules, 2/3 until top 8 where it's 3/5, double elim, uhhhhh you can't change teams if you win... I think that's everything.

Dunno if we need to cap the entrants. How many people could this possibly get in a week? (Famous last words, I realize)

Yeah, I guess we could always just cap it if it gets crazy.

Good question. I don't know.

Thoughts, anyone? Should we region lock to NA, to help people have good connections to their opponents?

I'll defer to what people want. My inclination is to open it to everyone since some non NA people are going to Combo Breaker and might want a chance to win that free lunch. But if people don't want to play Agent J's cosmic connection I understand that too.
 
Oh man, I would love to join, but I host Get Gr8 at 4 PM ET, so I can only play if we have less than 4~ Matchups. Maybe I can reschedule and bump GGr8 to an hour earlier... When's the latest we can sign up?

I'm going to cut signups off Friday. If you're not sure if you'd be able to play it is probably not the best idea to sign up.

As of this post I am cutting off sign ups. Unless anyone has any issues, this will be the bracket tomorrow: http://challonge.com/finalblow1

Format for the stream will be, all winners matches will be streamed, losers matches will be done off stream until top 8 (unless we run out of winners matches to stream). So if you have a losers match to play just go ahead and play it unless you're in top 8 in which case chill until we ask for you. Top 8 losers side starts at losers round 3, if that's not clear. Once again it's 2/3 until top 8 at which point it becomes 3/5.
