    That's exactly what I was talking about @Stuff you can also do H axe kick loops off that as well. Although not sure if the damage is worth it since by that point in a combo scaling is usually poop.

    But after a reset scaling goes back to normal? Undizzy is a different story but people usually press a button during mixups so I don't see that being a problem.

    No no no lol. Check out the hitstun after the M Axe Kick restand. You can pretty much do anything after it. For example after M Axe kick do j lk > j hk > H Axe Kick. I'll post a video monday (albeit shitty quality) Monday if you're still confused.

    It's actually a pretty easy setup to pull off honestly. Because when you hit them with the headbutt it puts the head at the perfect spacing for it. Only problem is that 2lk 5mk fiber doesn't work on the entire cast and whiffs on some characters crouching.

    I'm confused. How does zoom make it seem more viable?

    As in being able to do it regardless of head positioning. Sorry should've said the full reason. Although I really like that it's an air reset so that means I won't get mashed out usually if I attempt it lol

    And I'm quite aware of being fairly close to +24 after restand axekick.

    I was going to make a video for this but it's kind of annoying to do while I'm recording. Also I'm not posing this in the combo thread because it's beta/a concept. Anyway it's a head-on HK fiber to head off conversion.

    623HK~K j.214P 66 j.lk 623HP

    So what happens is you link airdash j.lk so it hits your opponent otg and the head so they get juggled higher, and then sneeze picks them up. Of course you can use the +30 frames from the head hitting them to do a reset.

    Basically this gives fortune access to her headless vortex game off of her fiber. Also I have no idea who this works on besides peacock.

    Trying to use a level 3 super from above, with Val Savage Bypass H assist. For some reason it registers as a crossup, but the timing is tricky. Really gimmicky and I don't know what to make of it.

    Update on Fortune's head on midscreen ground throw conversion.

    It doesn't require the instant air dash, so if that's given you a hard time you can stop. It's much easier the new way. And now works on Parasoul weight characters as well as lights. I haven't tested it on heavies yet. More on that tomorrow I guess.

    The required timing for l fiber is the same as doing her corner conversion without using the otg. That means you'll be cancelling the last frames of the throw.

    The resulting combo is still the same as the one @CaioLugon posted when I first found this.

    So yay, this is now practical.

    This is really embarassing. But it appears the throw conversion only works if you opponent doesn't ground tech. So I got excited over nothing. The only thing that applies is the Big Band and Beowulf specific conversion.

    You have PBGC'd into cat scratch or are doing it as a corner ender and have preserved OTG. You get safejumps off of this super.

    Most setups can be done midscreen since rekka/jumping moves you forward.

    Falling normals setups requires tight timing if the normal isn't j.HK. j.LP moves Ms Fortune's hitbox up and has her land later which is why the Val group setup works on them but not other normals.

    IAD setups presume fastest input unless noted otherwise.

    You're chaining into the j.hk so it's not techable.

    The first one is lights only and the second one doesnt work on heavies (kinda does on double after the second hit of j.mk)

    Been looking at some IAD approaches, and found that if you do a headless IAD j.lk > j.mk, on blocks j.mk hits once and you're on the ground at +20.

    If you try this head on, j.mk animation starts, and you save a frame.

    I guess this is the best place to ask this. What is the headless Fortune reset that is closest to offering the head on reset positioning/mixups that s.HK, LK Fiber Upper, j.LP, j.MP gives you? I've practiced a lot of the ones in the Skippy guide and although many of them are good air resets there is nothing really I can find that is similar other than simply s.MK xx LK Fiber, but that doesn't give you a crossunder.

    Sometimes I don't really know if I'm just not doing good enough headless resets or if s.HK xx LK Fiber j.LP, j.MP is actually better than anything she has headless...

    Of the resets in in the Skippy guide, which ones do you think are the best ones to practice in terms of giving you the best mixups and being fast/not super vulnerable to reversals?

    1. .HK -> L Fiber, j.MP/j.MK(1) adc j.MP -> L Gato
    2. s.HK -> L Fiber, j.MP/j.MK(1 hit) adc airthrow
    3. s.HK -> L Fiber, j.LP/MP adc L Gato
    4. s.HK, j.LP, LK, j.LP -> L Gato (vs Fortune/Eliza do j.LK instead of j.LP LK)
    5. s.HK, j.LP LK, j.LP -> Gato (j.LP earlier for uncrossup)
    These are the ones I have written down in my notes, but some of them seem tricky and not super ambiguous?

    1. s.HK, j.LP, j.LK, j.LP > L Gato (Fortune/Eliza do j.LK instead of j.LP/LK)
    2. s.HK, j.LP j.LK, j.LP > L Gato (j.LP earlier for uncrossup)
    3. s.HK, j.LP LK, airdash back j.LK > L gato
    4. s.HK, j.LP LK, j.LP, c.LK
    These are probably closer to what I'm looking for as they are pretty easy 50/50s and are pretty hard to mash out of.

    1. s.HK, HP iad back/forward j.HK
      s.HK, HP iad back/forward airthrow whiff c.LK
    2. s.HK, HP iad back/forward airthrow whiff c.LK
    These seem really good but are incredibly tricky to do.

    There's also this one:

    Basically I'm just looking for something as easy and effective as the Fiber Loop resets are for headless. I want stuff that's an ambiguous crossunder or high/low or throw. She's got way better stuff than just throw, overhead or IAD j.LK which is what I always do as a reset when I have somebody in a sandwich combo.

    I recommend using the c.HK(1) > L Fiber resets (7.12 in the guide). The high-low is pretty ambiguous and good against reversals since the opponent recovers right above the ground, and you can go for crossup stuff too.

    I know this post is ages old but I found a way to actually combo into HK axe kick but it requires head positioning. When you Hk while headless press St.HK and for a reason I'm not sure about the hitbox is large enough to bop them and hover your opponent into the air for an HK axekick. Depending on the character's size/timing of kicks the opponent either restands for a bounce or slides for the untechable knockdown. I assume this method can also optimize damage since this opens up repeated use of Fortune's 2 most damaging moves JHK and HK axe kick, but once again this sort of thing is pretty situational except in the corner.

    Dude I dunno a word you're saying. Could you please be more concise?

    Edit: Are you referring to hitting the head with your launcher and doing 214HK? 'cause like you can get more damage from just doing head juggle loops with 214MK (or was it 214LK) and not only that you get amazing reset options by doing so. The difference between them is like 100 damage.

    Edit2: I also recall inuchiyo doing something similar to this

    My execution is bad so that's as far as I got. If it's already been done then whoops I tried I guess.
