Report Fukua Introduced As 100% Real And Playable Character!

For Fukua to be such a blatant gag clone, she's giving me good feelings about how Robo-Fortune will end up. I hope Fukua stays and comes to consoles, I don't mind a little roster padding.

This might be a weird question but how much did she cost to make?

MSH vs SF: Mephisto, US Agent, Armored Spiderman, Mech-Zangief, Sunburnt Sakura and Shadow.
MvC1: Orange Hulk, Carnage, War Machine, Gold War Machine (CLONECEPTION), Shadow Lady and Lilith.

So I will be VERY glad if this ends up being a one day gag. One Filia is enough.

Funny joke, but damn I hope this is a one-day thing.
 
So I googled "Fukua" and found a Swahili -> English translation for "dig up/Uncover."
Is this a coincidence or intentional since it's a character where they had to dig up unused animations? O.o
 
Mike you beautiful, beautiful man. Forget Big Band, forget Eliza and Beowulf and everyone else... Fukua was everything I needed in my life.

The fact she has a different idle animation than Filia makes me like her more than most clones. Sure, it's just a repurposed win-pose but most clones don't even go the extra mile to have a different idle animation.

I never really minded clone characters if they added/changed moves, personally. Mech-Zangief, Shadow Lady and Lilith were all a-okay by me. By extension, so is Fukua.

Mike said that barring serious issues with her, she's here to stay and the rest of the team has signed off on it.

It's also worth stating that Mike is a bitter old man who hates April 1st so I don't think this was part of any short-term joke

She was a typo Brady made (u and k are next to i and l), but that's a great coincidence

In the particular case of MSHxSF, I'm still haunted by memories harking back to the olden days of printed media, of a report listing the secret characters and I was pretty hyped for Mephisto. What the report forgot to mention is that it was a red Blackheart... -_-"

As for Fukua, she's Skullgirls' Shen Long with some mythology behind it and with that in mind, I accept her. However, that is where I draw the line. Even with the small roster, I'm not in favor of expanding it by "Frankensteining" everyone in the cast and Skullgirls ends up like a 2D Plasma Sword. IMHO this sort of thing, in principle, cheapens the overall presentation as the character's animation is clearly not on the same level as the rest of the cast.
With some polishing - a few frames here and there to make her look less choppy and hopefully unique voice - she can become a worthy addition.
Overall, like many said, this has left me looking forward to Robo-Fortune even more.

One of the palettes reminds me of the CVS2 version of Shin Akuma, but then again it doesnt really look like it

im pretty sure that one is Sean from SFIII, all of her palletes are based off of clone characters. . .why isnt there a Lambda-11 palette though? she is technically a clone character made for storyn purposes only

I can understand that. Aside from Fukua and RF I'd only want one other "clone" character anyway: Double EX. But she probably won't come about for awhile.

I thought some people called the possible new double triple?

But I have to agree with Balder and Icepick, I feel Fukua should be kept as long she she gets cleaned up and some more interesting lines, also yeah I have to agree that her RF and maybe the new Double (triple) should be the possible only clone characters as long as there very stylish and work.

The last thing we need is like in Darkstalkers Talbain and dark Talbain (that being the same character with one stat change and an aura after effect....) although an after effect on a character would be kinda kool ^^
 
What I'm most angry about is that her QCF+HP is exactly the projectile assist for Peacock that I was hoping to get out of Dahlia and Fukua can totally squeeze onto my team on second position, so now I feel like I could benefit from using her.

You bastards.

I think I proposed Double 2 being Double's sentient tumor named Steve. Jokes aside, I do recall that if such a character became a thing, I did honestly propose it as a sentient part of Double and her appearance would reflect that - the idle being a mixture of nun and monster, hunched over barely capable of maintaining its human form (maybe with the jaw falling off, absorbed by the body once it hits the ground and re-forming as well as mouths and eyes opening all over the body).

I was just complaining yesterday to my brother about how April Fool's jokes have boiled down to something people actually want, but will never get. This actually subverts the latter half of that complaint. Kudos to all that made this happen!
