Phantom Dust drops tomorrow on Windows 10 and Xbox One for free, if you have either of those you should definitely check it out, it was a good game that sadly almost no one has heard of.

Correct. Though others should, given what happened to Devil May Cry and those other western outsourcing projects.

Yes, DmC 2 was released in 2004, 11 years before DmC: Devil May Cry 1, and it was an arena card based fighting thing with multiplayer for some reason.

Also Microsoft did a fantastic job with this port.

Dragon's Dogma was really cool and all but can we please get a new game already? Which goes doubly for the west as we didn't even get the MMO.

They still haven't revealed what Itsuno is working on I guess, maybe this is to prepare new console owners for that, but honestly I think most are expecting Devil May Cry at this point.

2 this is stupid, but they did the right thing and gave Yoshi a bazooka so thumbs up from me.
 
that's nice and all but actually knowing what the game is and how it plays would be pretty cool
 
Hopefully we find out next week. If not, hopefully we find out at TGS, if not, I'm going to go back to not thinking about the game again.
 
Game's gonna take a while, never forget that Vanillasoft painfully hand animates every single one of their frames, and robots/mecha are fucking artist poison and are amongst the hardest things to consistantly draw well.

You're thinking of Lab Zero, Vanillaware uses puppet animation.

I'm not complaining or putting down Vanillaware, the art is always gorgeous, but they are not animating frame by frame or anywhere close.

It's still sheer insanity to be drawing a game like that with machinery, that's always one of the most painful parts of animation
Still, curious to see if it's Singleplayer only or will be Dragon's Crown 2: Dragon Harder

Why make a second season to the critically acclaimed The Wolf Among Us or Tales form the Borderlands when you could keep making low-effort baby trash to get parental allowance money?
 
TftB was probably the best Borderlands game I ever played (still finishing it) and you announce the sequel to one of your worst creations?!?

Depends on the work. The writing in Tales was great, and that game had Anthony Burch, the guy responsible for all le funny maymays in Borderlands 2 and TPS.

Minecraft SM on the other hand was aimed at kids because now Minecraft is mainly played by kids, but it was taken in that direction so decisively it ended up going straight into Mediocreland.

Plus there's the little known fact that, unlike Minecraft, Borderlands has an actual plot. Nothing to write home about but at least Handsome Jack is a good villain imo.
 
Still waiting for season 2 of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.
 
i expect it to be whatever but i'm still 200% on board for bazooka yoshi
