Gravity Breakers - New Character GERZIL!

I'm working on a new design for the HUD. I'd appreciate some constructive criticism, please? Which one do you guys prefer?

Ver.0.1.2 changelog
  • Began Gerzil implementation
  • Increased pushback on hit/shield for nA attacks
  • New HUD
  • Added proximity indicator
  • Updated Cardinal's projectile graphics
  • Multi-hitting attacks hit more consistently now (see Nancy's Death Roll)
  • Fixed the way we handle analog/digital inputs, should feel more consistent
  • Added pause menu
  • Adjusted camera so it tracks the action better

While I’ve been plugging away on the last few animations for Gerzil, our lead programmer William has been hard work on a proprietary input system he’s dubbed Zer0 Input. We were having issues getting Rewired to behave so we decided it would be better to build our own input system. Also Oliver has put together a great character select screen. Everything is still WIP so more improvements are on the way. And of course if you have any suggestions or find any bugs please reach out to our various communication channels (we have a bug report channel on the official Discord server btw). Thanks everybody!

Hey everybody, we just released a new build! Check out our blog post on Itch.
Ver.0.3.1 adds the alpha implementation of 4 player mode (very early, very buggy!)

Work on Valeria continues. We're nearly complete with creating all of her art assets and we've already started rigging and animating her. She should be appearing in a build very soon...
