Guilty Gear is one of my favorite fighting game franchises, but what do YOU guys think about Guilty Gear. Feel free to share all things Guilty Gear including things about the characters, story, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, ect.

Ky needs to chop off that ponytail in Xrd. I get its supposed to represent "character growth", but radically changing his hairstyle isn't the only way to go about it. What next Bridget going bald because of plot?
 
Yeah I know what you mean I don't really like that ponytail either and I'm hoping they decide to change it or at least have a classic costume pack or something.
 
Millia's new design is sooooo good. Visually they are really doing good job with the Visuals for Xrd so far.

I'm really hoping they reveal some new characters soon. Like "New to GG" characters. I love the classic cast and I hope as many of them come back as possible, but I'd like to see what ASW can do with a character who's moveset is designed 100% to work with the new engine and 3d models.
 
I sure hope Xrd gets a tutorial with as much depth as Blazblue's, I've not played much Guilty Gear but whenever I see a discussion about gameplay it's full of talks about mechanics I didn't know existed and a lot of them seem necessary for competitive play. I don't want them to water it down, just to invite more people into the more advanced world of it.

Also Potemkin looks like Panzerfaust now and I like it.

I'm very curious as to what Dizzy, Bridget and I-no's new looks will be like ^^

Also some people are worried for Robo-Ky so I wanna hear news on him too.

Oh and there was some news hinting a a new character or a few if were lucky and that's something I cant wait to get details on ^^
 
Big super animations aren't always the best but Venom's new Dark Angel is in fact always the best.

Still waiting for ABA and especially Faust, I wonder if he'll keep the Paper Bag or if his Xrd design will show his face.
 
I hope they have an improved story mode. The old ones were terrible.
 
AC + R patch and netcode that allows you to have good quality matches. That's all.
 
I have GGXX AC+R on PSN. I really like Baiken, but she seems like a difficult character and I wanna try out some other characters. Which ones have the lowest execution (Well, maybe except for I-No and A.B.A.)?

ARCSYS! PLEASE CONFIRM BAIKEN, JAM, FAUST & A.B.A. AND ALSO PLEASE MAKE THE GAME AVAILABLE ON STEAM!

I actually didn't like the 1st trailer at all, but after looking at in-game gameplay screenshots and footage, I'm now more optimistic.

EDIT: Also, the game will be on PS3!

Pretty hype for Xrd, though I like Blazblue more (A LOT more...), I'll still play some Guilty Gear now and then.
I'm still just waiting for them to reveal Faust.
If he's been cut I'm gonna be one sad panda.

Makes me wonder, if he does make it, will his new design have him wearing a plastic bag over his head?

Now I'm just waiting for Dizzy. She seems like a sure thing since she was sorta in GG2. Had a better outfit there too.

Robo-Valentine is also acceptable.

Plastic bag? Nah, it should be a reusable environmentally-friendly hemp bag to keep up with the times. :^)
 
I'm pretty sure now since I-no has been revealed that this guarantees Baiken is confirmed as well considering...

And yeah, certain reveals confirm other characters.

Like if there's a May, there's probably a Johnny, if there's a Millia, there's probably an Eddie or Venom.

If there's an Axl, there's an I-no, and if there's an I-no, there's a Baiken, and if there's a Baiken, Anji is downright confirmed because they're pretty much a beta couple by this point.
 
Which means that probably the only main-game characters that will most likely be left out will probably be Kliff and Justice... again.
 
I have no idea if kliff or justice will be back at this point, they could surprise us and bring leopalden back.
 
Pretty certain they won't bring back Justice and Kliff in canon. but as broken secret characters a la their pre-+R portrayals? Not so sure on that front.

I would enjoy seeing Faust going back to Dr. Baldhead appearance wise but still kept Faust's moveset, I tried playing Baldhead recently and I forget that all of my zoning surprises didn't exist in the original.
 
I wonder how I-NO will play now. She's the only character so far who has never been in a game without FRCs announced so far. Should be interesting.
 
Well I believe I read somewhere there's also a good chance for 1 if not maybe a few new faces added to the roster as well, so who knows what new challengers approaching might be.
 
I just really, really hope Xrd comes to PC, and that Arc stops hating PC because BB:CS didn't sell, which was their fault.

You mean BBCT on PC? They didn't bother updating GG after Reload.
