It's been some time since the contest but I want to start up running this again for fun. I think I need more practice and fight order help against the bosses but I was getting times close to 14 min when the contest ended. I'd be willing to race havick sometime (I think I hold 3rd right now on this board for provable times but I can do better lol)

I'll try to be more active on here to keep the hype going. Would people still be interested in seeing a prototype run that's close to a year old?

Also there's some new tech I found out too late for the contest. It's possible to clear the triple rodneys in one sequence, as well as a lot of other stuff that probably isn't even discovered yet.

I haven't touched it much since I won and I've been thinking about streaming myself getting the rust off and beating the record.
Having a race sounds like fun and I'm pretty interested on your new tech and another run I haven't seen@thelaffingman1

Want to try to run a warmup race tonight around 10pm CDT? Kick the tires a little? Clearest %, most current release of the prototype? My twitch channel is thelaffingman1 and I can pm you a discord link later today (around 5pm CDT)

I'm totally unfit to have a race

just had a little casual run and hit more than 22 minutes

I hit 24 on my first run back but cut it down to 20 after that. Sorry we never got to race, Overwatch ran a little late tonight lol. We will race though. My boss pathing is horrendous though. I could make up sooooo much time there. I'll have to go back to Senvy's videos and watch the annotated fights. Cheers though

Also, so I don't keep everyone in suspense for the new tech, here it is

it's being ported to youtube as well but for now, this link works. You dodge the first attack of the first rodney when you approach the three, and then you do a double tap on them and can finish with ajna up once and zeibei down once and it'll unlock tungar

Dang, that's a really nice trick.

Oh I only said I was unfit because I thought you were close to your 14 minute runs since you said you had new tech.
14m vs 22m would've been too embrassing. I'm down for racing once we get abit closer to our best times

hook me up with those too because the ones I go to were deleted. I really want to see his best boss fights again with the Zebei jump attacks because somehow he got really good times with it even though I think they're not worth it since it's too slow.

Oh yeah, I re-annotated my record run a month or two ago out of boredom. I'm going to reupload my best boss fights because last time the copyright stuff annoyed me so I took them down

After rewatching 5:39 and reading the annotations, I realize now that the real reason I canceled Tungar's Up attack really early and missed some damage is because I wanted my attack turn to end quicker. The idea was that quicker turns = higher DPS overall. 1 guy doing his slow multihit attack twice < 1 guy doing his quick single hit so his 3 teammates can attack sooner.
