Indivisible PROTOTYPE Speedrunning & Secrets Discussion

I'm gonna guess we want the cat to not have ran away, but I've basically got no ideas.

If it doesn't involve breaking things, the rock is out? I actually messed around with that rock a bit the second time I got out.

Breaking things does not remove your ability to discover whatever it is, is what I said. You can't do anything that will PREVENT you from being able to find everything, because I hate that in games.

so I was searching the room where you find the axe and found a glitch I believe?
[snip]
And for some weird reason, the moment Ajna would transform (very close to the right side wall) it would appear that I would hit the golden golem on the far left side of the room
Yeah, on the first frame your hitbox isn't aligned with the character, it's a bug.

Can someone pm me what the other secret is?

Is not that i'm lazy to find out by myself, but while my pc can run Indivisible very well, for some reason, after some time with the game on, my pc turns off, it happened in 3 of the 4 times i played the game today, so, i don't have a way to figure out by myself.

I already didn't think it's the rock. The rock was there to prevent you from advancing at the wrong time, but lets you bust it to show you can break things (IE - A wall) when you Super Ran through it.

Sounds like overheating to me. Try cleaning dust out of it (this is usually more than enough), and try putting it by the air conditioner or point a fan at the air intake on your computer.

is what i thought too, since it is very hot here at the moment, but there isn't dust to clean out, i don't have ways to work around here. But i'll spend more time on the prototype once the weather is not that bad.

Well I thought it had to do with the destructible floors, like you need to keep them up until you get the run ability so you have new walls to smash into, but if it's possible even after breaking things then I got no more ideas.

Well now I'm just confused because the previous hint said you can do something that would lock you out of the extra hidden thing.

The not being able to screw it up before the boss thing removes that as a possibility though

Ok, I'll fire up some questions and try this out later, since I don't have much time for more than a few playthroughs I hope it helps:

1. Is it execution based?
2. Does it involve menus?
3. Is a reference to some other game?
4. Is any weapon, or lack of necessary?
5. Vine related?
6. Battle related, overworld related or both?

I'm super confused now lol. Do I even need to clear the regular boss at all to find this secret?

Is this hint exclusively pertaining to breakable objects, or does it extend to enemies as well?

I'm still confused about this because TheGamaniac's hint said you can lose something that would prevent you from finding the secret. If the quoted hint pertains to everything and not just breakable objects, the only thing I can think of that you could possibly lose is Tapir, the cat, or the boss in the pit.

EDIT: I've played through this game so many times that I can get out of the pit on my first try every single time now :T

Sooo... Ideal clear path? Get under 15 mins with this? I can't because I'm bad.

Kill 1x hungry ghost in 2 turns
Kill 2x hungry ghosts in 3 turns, Ajna level up
Kill 3x hungry ghosts in 2 turns, Zebei joins
Jump over the 2x lvl2 hungry ghosts
Kill the ahp + 3 hungy ghosts in 2.5 turns, Zebei level up
Kill the lvl2 hungry ghost pack in <2 turns
Kill 3x lvl2 hungry ghosts in 2 turns, Tungar joins
Pick up the axe
Kill the lvl2 ahp pack in <2 turns, Tungar level up
Kill the 2x lvl2 ahps in <2 turns
Kill the 3x lvl2 hungry ghost pack, Razmi joins. You don't need this, but they will bother you during the next fight if you skip them.
Kill the bleu
Skip the lvl3 ahp pack by axe climbing/wall jumping over them.
Kill the 2x bleu pack, Razmi level up. Note: trying to get here and win this fight without Razmi is possible, but appears slower no matter how you route it.
Axe through any hungry ghosts in your way without entering combat
Kill the lvl2 bleu, Ajna level up
Boss fight!

Can you even get to the boss without losing Roti?

.... I just lost Razmi from this fight I got into x,x She got knocked onto an upper platform and didn't jump down and now she's out of this fight. Nice (yet mean D=) to know your own people can be "snapped" out of combat too.

edit: aannndd there goes Zebie. Launched onto the same platform XD now it's me and Tungar lol

I have an idea, though I don't have much faith in it, can't play for about 3 hours though

Thought this was amusing, even though I think it wasn't that hard.

Not MY previous hint.

Keep in mind that one of us knows, and one of us is guessing.
At least one way will be available at all times is it possible, and nothing you can do will lock you out of it.

I wasn't even able to get out of the pit before my pc turned off, 3 times.

But i was getting close on the last try. D=

Considering he found the secret, I figured it was safe to assume he knew what he was talking about and not guessing.

I'm pretty burnt out on this today though x.x

I think people forget how difficult it was to actually figure out secrets in games. :^P
Like the Halo 2 Scarab Cannon blaster that was hidden on top of a building you normally couldn't reach XD who ever found out how to do that one needs to get more than just a cookie.

Okay! After sleeping on it for a night and switching to keyboard, I finally made it out of The Pit. I can finally put this prototype down. See you in 2018!

I spent all day today. All day. Playing this demo. What do I have to show for it? Nothing. Because I was so drained I forgot to take a screenshot. But, if you want to know what I experienced:
Hell. Fire spitting, earth quaking, resurrecting hell. A very "rip you if you miss your guard" kind of danger.

Yeah my idea fell totally flat like all the other ones have anyway

What did you try?

Well before I saw Mike's post I thought about all the things you could lose, it was something you couldn't lose on the way to the boss, so I thought about letting the boss live.

You can't run from the boss though, of course, so I tried to get over it but it doesn't seem possible.

Public service announcement: If nobody spoils it by the time we get to like, halfway or fully funded, I'll stream it possibly.
(WEATHERBEES INTENSIFYING)

It is possible to beat the prototype without fighting the boss. There's even a clear message for it. :^P
That is not related to the secret, though.

I give up, it's probably quite obvious but I get tunnel vision and keep missing it.

this is how you do it
mash forward :^)

Getting two attacks in with the first hit is really interesting. Didn't know you could do that.

I'm backing this hard by the way, first time I'll ever back anything, provided there will be more platforming like the part after the bossfight and secrets like those.
Make it stupid hard if you wish I wouldn't mind.
