Introduce Yourself!

Hello mine name is mel like to play games of any kind even if i suck at some kind.:)

Well since SkullHeart is back, might as well reintroduce myself.

I'm am BrandX+ (I also go by Brand, BrandX, and PhantomMinaX1), and I'm a SkullGirls player from Las Vegas who has been playing since the Slighty Different Edition Patch was released. The art style is what attracted me to SkullGirls and I have been playing ever since. My favorite character is Filia because she is an adorable peach of a girl :p

I've been playing fighting games since 2010, my first fighter was Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and I've eventually stopped on SkullGirls because SkullGirls is so damn fun.

Besides that, I am also the head of a indie video game development group known as "Phantom Puella Studios", and are currently in development of a visual novel for the PC (Looking for help currently /shameless plead for help). I love to draw (Learning to get better because I suck), write (I love writing very much) and just living life to the fullest (While my wallet is being constantly destroyed because of bills and such :<). Just a simple guy who is trying to do big things.

Unfortunately, I can't really stand SkullGirls on PC's online (Very unstable) but if you want to try playing, be sure to hit me up!

I am also currently in college, going for my art major but learning programming on the side as well, and working, but I'm still pretty flexible with my schedule (Sort of).

It's great to see SkullHeart back up and running! (for the most part).

Hello, I am alxreaper (or so often misspelled axlreaper :P) I started really being interested in skullgirls when they first revealed peacock, and knew she would be the character I played.

I started playing fighting games back in 2009 when I got a job at my local arcade and my boss/friend taught me how to play. I learned on mvc2 which then lead to mvc3, but when skullgirls came out I dropped mvc3 immediately.

I am in the grey area of high intermediate and low expert. I am the 17th best peacock on the west coast. i have a terrible cerebella. my main weakness is double and I panic when I have pressure on me.

I'm iloli.

Mysterious by nature and ambitious by right.

Average man by day, loli lover by night.

On both the top 10 best Cerebella list and FBI's most wanted.

Fear me.

Better than everyone on this page.

I am DDB. Also known as DiddyBound on PSN, DDB of The Stars on Steam, Dockdockbock on Twitch, and I am the official Harbinger Of The Stars. You may have seen my "work" in most any SG-related stream.

Now when's Annie and where's my paycheck?

I'm Rafael. Big Skullgirls fan. I got Skullgirls on PS3 and Steam. My favorite Skullgirls are Parasoul, Valentine, and Squigly. I'm mostly on twitter so feel free to follow me there. Pleased to meet you all.

I suppose I should post in here, eh?

The name's Tony and I've been rocking Skullgirls since it came out on PSN, but unfortunately dropped it right before SDE came out for various reasons. Recently, I've picked up the Steam version and I'm going to be dedicating a ton of time to it now. I've been a Filia main since Day 1, but with the new MDE, I've switched over to (and fallen in love with) Ms. Fortune.

And yes, I always solo it ;) From CvS2 to Skullgirls: nothing better than a ratio-4, death tank.

Hi. I first got into fighting games with Tatsunoko vs Capcom back in 2009 (because Zero and Mega Man Volnutt). I had been following Skullgirls since summer 2011, before its official release. Got it day one on PSN, but today I play the PC version.

The characters I like to use most are Parasoul, Ms. Fortune, and Filia. Though, I mostly just stick with Parasoul.

Hey everyone it's just old Lunerstep reintroducing myself, man I'm soooooo glad to be back and hope I can reconnect with all my friends and fellow skullgirls fans.

Well yeah the names Lunerstep, love skullgirls, I want it to grow, i'm kinda slow on some things like learning curves in fighters but i love em. Also I know everyone at this point is most likely gonna be on PC, but for those of us with crummy coms and not a lot of money want a match on the PSN look me up, I wanna fight epic opponents so I can improve and learn better combos ^^

PSN ID: xLunarHeartx

The characters I use the most are my main girl Filia <3 and Double, and on and off again maybe peacock and fortune, but ,mostly the first 2 X3

I'm Cybermanworf and i am still not a very good skullgirls player. I like playing Fillia, Parasoul and Squigly and I cannot wait to try out the other characters when they become available. I tend to play on PS3 and would like to play more on pc if my laptop wasn't crappy.

Hello I am mister sandman! I am a somewhat Intermediate player that still knows no combos except one for Ms. Fortune. I have the most fun playing as Cerebella and Ms. Fortune. This game made me a lot of new friends from the Skullgirls beta group chat and such.

hi hello im one of those idiots from central europe who has no ability to play as anyone else besides filia whatsoever thats the sordid story

Hellos everybody, I'm new to Skullheart, but have been playing since the PC beta. I love fighting games, but I don't play competitively, can't enjoy a game when either party involved is just playing to win. I just enjoy the fight. I'm a Fortune solo-er, she just clicked with me right from the start with her fast playstyle- love her head mechanics. And of course, dem puns.

I'm an artist aswell, cool seeing others here. It's a great community.

I'm Kai, but because I don't wanna be one of those uncool guys that uses their real names for stuff, I go by Night Phyre in the FGC in Chicago, and online for Steam. I suppose I'm an intermediate player, since I get beat up on by Duck all the time, but I mostly do ok elsewhere. I've played other fighting games, and while I do enjoy them, I'm much better at SG.

I'm primarily a musician, and you can check out my project stuff here (games scores, etc), or my band stuff here and here.

Hey! I'm Lavama, just some dude on the internet who likes to wear a mask when he plays Skullgirls. What mask?

Why, the one in my avatar.

I'm Zombies8MyLeg(or Zombies for short) and I when I was younger the only fighting games I played were Dead or Alive on my Dreamcast(which I loved), Mortal Kombat on an Arcade at my Dad's job, and Marvel vs Capcom 2 on my original Xbox. I got into some other fighters like Guilty Gear, Darkstalkers, Persona 4 Arena, etc. But when I first saw Skullgirls, I loved it because of the art style and the bizarre fighters, but when I started playing it I liked it more because of the lore and the story.

I've also been told that I have a solid Parasoul and Peacock team, but on occasion I still drop combos so I'm not the best. I also like to chat with the community on the Salty Cupcakes Live Streams as zombie_with_a_cat and I'm also in college majoring in animation because I want to create a fighting game, but if I can find some spare time, I would like to start streaming Skullgirl matches with the rest of the community.

I'm glad Skullheart is backup and running again and I hope everybody is enjoying this great community as much as I am.

I'm Zeriam. I was a regular here before it went apocalyptic into darkness and disappeared, but I'm glad it's back. I've been playing Skullgirls since it was first released and I love the game a lot. I'm a huge fan of anything new or nostalgia based, but only if it's to my liking.

I mostly play/review movies, shows, anime, manga, and video games. I treat anyone with respect just as long as they do the same in return. I hope to meet a lot of newcomers to this site and visit the old ones here again.

I'm dime_x but I tend to go by dime both online and in person when meeting fellow fgcers. I guess I tend to be a bit of a know it all, but its for a good cause... Namely the advancement of myself and others as far as play ability goes in whatever fighter I am playing at that time. I consider fighting games to be my hobby and I take them relatively seriously.

I tend towards bluntness and some would say arrogance which has made me none to popular, especially with intermediate players and below, like the art and lore people. But make no mistake. I am a nice person. I Just wont agree with you simply cause of who you are or what you've accomplished in the past. I treat everyone equally and love fighting games and the extended fighting game community cause it is where I've met my best friends that have stayed friends through the years. I've been playing fighting games since sf2 came out in the arcades and have a relatively good knowledge of them, I grew up in so cal and have since moved to Australia.

I love skullgirls for many different reasons such as the crazy throw game, the somewhat long combos, the original pacing and style of neutral game, the open development process, the custom assists, the huge amount of possible characters, the creative ideas that go into the game, the capcom feel of the characters movement and normals, the fact that this is a ggpo enabled game which allows me to play from the comfort of home without having to leave my family for long periods of time like I would if I had to go to meetups or an arcade... And finally I like the struggle that skullgirls provides... It is challenging to me without being frustrating.

There are some things I don't like, like reversal assists giving such easy combo on hit, and the way pbgc is implemented, but those are things I can live with. No game is perfect, they are all usually a huge combination of opinions of what is good to put in and what isn't.

As far as player strength goes, with the top 8 at evo being 9.5 in strength. I would consider myself about a 6.5 maybe a 7... Good enough to give a challenge, but generally outclassed by the best. A lower level expert or a higher level intermediate.

Good to meet you. I hope your stay at skullheart is an entertaining and fulfilling one :)

Hi my name is the thepaintrain8465. I got into Skullgirls a few months before it was released on consoles & have stuck with it since. I'm a somewhat casual player but my main team is Parasoul & Peacock (zoning FTW), & sometimes I throw Filia in there. Nice to meet you all!

Hi, I'm RexLeRouge.
I'm french, but I live in the Netherlands.
I play Skullgirls since the PC Beta, only offline for now because my internet sucks :(
I play lots of different fighters, depending on my mood.
Overall, I'm a pretty mediocre player

Nice to meet you all

Hey, name's Pierre, i currently reside in Colombia (south america) and ive been following fighting game streams for 2 years (around the time Marvel 3 vanilla came out) but never had the chance to play fighting games mainly due to a lack of a gaming console to play them on (ive been waiting for the skullgirls PC port for a loooong time) and people to play them with.

I went to EVO this year with the intention to live the hype live and finally get a start onto fighting games (finally getting a console to play with and a pair or Sticks), i probably crossed by some of you guys over there. I passed by the skullgirls alnighter room after the tournaments but i didnt stay for long since i was rather tired, i left around the time they were starting the titan knuckle betting games.

So now im trying to get my local friends into fighting games as well but without much success, they either get bored after mashing doesnt work out for them or they simply lack the time, so hopefully i can find some people here to play here with since playing alone (a little intimidated with tackling online with randoms right now) isnt as fun as with people you can share the experience with.

Feel free to add me on steam (erreip 199) and hopefully ill be motivated to grind it on training mode since ill have people to learn from while they destroy me :D

Hi, I'm Kuzlalala but people call me Lala. I'm from Indonesia, and I hope there are other Indonesian Skullgirls fans out there. Anyway, I knew Skullgirls from Peacock. I just really liked Peacock's design. The first time I saw her was without the source of where she's from, and I thought, "Oh man I wish I know where she's from". Then from random searching I eventually found out that Peacock's from Skullgirls. Then after some research Skullgirls seemed to have very good animation and characters.

To be honest I really want to have Skullgirls (legally, yup you know the implication of this), but I don't have steam and I also don't have a credit card to buy stuff online (If I did have one, I'd totally donate for the DLC which has been done). I'm also really new to fighting games. The last fighting game I've played was MUGEN, and that only lasted for a while.

So for now I can only contribute to the Skullgirls fandom by drawing fanart and articles.

Hi, I'm Sanger Zonvolt, I like mecha, fighting games, rpgs, and strategy games.

My name is taken from Super Robot Wars after my favorite character.

I'm a mod, I mod stuff, I sometimes play Skullgirls and created SkullBats, main Painwheel, waiting for Annie to be added into the game.

I'm the best Marie player in North America.

Hi, I'm VinceX. I'm new here. Give me affection and attention, please?

Hi, I'm Francis, the host of this show, Cooking With Dog.

No wait, that's not right.

I'm Steven. I was a casting director/voice actor for an indie fighter, Battle High 2. I cast two Skullgirls actors for it, in fact.

Skullgirls is definitely one of my favorite fighting games, if not favorite games, overall. I'd been following its progress for years and I love it so much that I bought it for 360 and PS3, plus was a Patron Saint donor for the IndieGoGo. If it is ported to any other systems I own, I'll definitely buy it again.

I'm terrible at introductions so i'll make this short.
Just a fan of Skullgirls for a few years and a lousy user of Cerebella/Valentine who is currently melting due to increased humidity/heat in Southern California. =/
Name comes from one of my favorite RPGs and my love of ancient Greek mythology.
My avatar is a clear indicator of who my favorite character is and was done by the wonderful Cellsai for donating to the Skullgirls IGG. =D

My birthname is QETZL, but offline I go by my handle "Ben".

I'm Canadian and that says about all you need to know about how good I am at Skullgirls.

If you think we're cool, we're probably cool. If you're an ass, we're cool as long as you're a funny ass. If you're just an unfunny ass than you probably don't care enough about anyone else to ever wonder if we're cool.

Howdy-howdy-howdy!

I am self-appointed #1 Stanley fan and representative of Russian fandom I guess (except they don't know about it =D). I was following SG since it had like 2 threads on SRK and, since I've no consoles whatsoever, I wasn't able to play the game properly till beta. So now when I actually can do it, I'm too shocked to begin @_@

I am more of a lore guy but, although I like SG-verse and characters, my favorite aspect of this game is team behind it. I thoroughly enjoy the way guys do and treat things and their policies both in game-making and PR departments. L0 are just too awesome. All my love to them.

Another thing about SG I find glorious is fanbase, which is too good to be true, basically. The fact that crowd also includes developers, artists and voice-over crew is just unbearably pleasant. I am really glad to be a part of it and I take pride in wearing my Skull Heart necklace.

Also I do really low-res pixels of SG-cast. Check 'em out! =O

hi i'm musica i suck at games but that dosn't stop me from playing them i like people to be happy i'm up for sets in skullgirls and to play other games as well my intro my be short but i suck with words

Name's Kat, and I've been into fighting games ever since I've played Bloody Roar when I was a kid. I've been following the development of Skullgirls ever since it was first announced, and I currently have it on the PS3 and PC since launch. I main a Ms. Fortune/Peacock team, and I'm trying my best to improve how I play. I'm no top player for sure, but I think I'm decent at best. Other fighting games I enjoy are P4A, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Dive Kick, Darkstalkers, and Street Fighter.

I also draw stuff and enjoy the world and lore of Skullgirls. If you guys wanna play sometime, feel free to shoot me a message and I'll give you my steam name.

Hey all, usually not a fan of 2D fighting games, I prefer 3D Namco fighters (Tekken Soul calibur) But I still enjoy some good ol' 2d fighting action. Skullgirls is probably my most played 2D fighter, and I guess that'd make it my favorite. I use a squigly and Filia team.

Hi, I'm Alex and I'm from New York. I've been playing fighters since Vitura Fighter 4 vanilla but didn't really get to into fighters until Soul Calibur II. I'm a huge fan of Arc System fighters, DarkStalkers, Soul Calibur (before 4) and Doujin/fanmade Fighters (honestly Dong Dong Never Dies and Super Cosplay Wars are amazing pieces of chaos) but I'm pretty open to any, 2D or 3D.... If I'm not playing an RPG, then I sink my time into those.

I've been playing Skullgirls since February, my team being Valentine/Peacock and I would say I'm lower intermediate skill-wise and still trying to improve. Besides that, I from time to time stream games on twitch . If anyone is ever up for Skullgirls, Blazblue or several other fighters (maybe except SF) on Steam or 360, there is a good chance I have it.

What's up? I go by many names, and my steam name changes often. Just call me The Pink One, though.

I'm a Fortune main, but I have been learning all of the other characters as well. I usually go with the team of Fortune/Bella/Val, but I've also been known to use a team of Peacock/Double/Parasoul.

Hi, I'm dekillsage! I'm from NYC and I'm a former competitive smash bros brawl player. Skullgirls is my 2nd favorite game(1st being brawl) and I like to raise the horns \m/

Helloooooooooo all! Name is Pheno (I made the name in middle school based off the Biology term Phenotype, I love genetics :D )
NorCal Pad player (Although I may soon start the process to create a fight stick of my own?) Been playing Skullgirls since... a couple of months ago?
Consider myself a beginner in SG, Intermediate/Advanced SSBB, and also slowly getting into Tekken Tag Tourney 2
Character wise:
SG-Filia or Valentine (Best fit my rush/poke playstyle plus they actually dash run which I love)
SSBB-Diddy Kong
TTT2-Kunimitsu/Alisa when playing pairs

However, I am more of a spectator. I enjoy watching matches, analyzing playstyles, and imagining what I'd do in the situation. More like hindsight playing? And often get rusty often because of it ^-^;
