[Jan 23, 2016] Ultimate California Battle Opera (ft. Slumber Party @... (Cupertino, CA)

I've contacted Myung and saved the date. Let's get AS MUCH of the Cali scene as possible to go to this.

WHEN:
January 23rd, 2016
Event starts at 6pm
People can probably start coming up on friday if they want.

WHERE:
The NEW Gamecenter Location, which I can't post the address of. But we'll get you there. It's located in Belmont, CA so about 10 minutes north of the old place in San Carlos.

The plan is for people to come up on Friday, spend the night at beamsprouts place, come with us to the tournament saturday, then leave whenever they want on Sunday.

WHERE CAN I STAY IF I'M FROM NOT NORCAL?
Answer: Probably Beamsprouts' place! As long as you're a cool / nice guy and you don't smell, you are more than welcome to crash at his place. But you must contact us ahead of time so we can make arrangements. His place is pretty nice, there's plenty of space, and I live less than 5 minutes away from him so I will be available to hang out at most times. His parents / brother are there but they're cool. Again you're probably fine (especially if I talked to you about this event before hand). Bring a pillow if you can because you'll probably be on the floor.

Activities when not at the tournament venue will include:
- SG / Guilty Gear casuals
- Mario Kart / Mario Party / Kirby Air Ride?
- Boba Tea
- Eating burgers

So it's pretty much a weekend for you to hang out at Beamsprouts' place then have an SG tournament on saturday.

If anyone from SoCal is having trouble finding cheap transportation, check Megabus. I'm from NorCal but go to school in Anaheim and I'm paying $3.50($1 each way + $1.50 booking fee) for a round trip to attend (22nd and 24th of Jan, from Anaheim to SF). I checked the pricing from LA to SF and you'll probably end up paying about $50-80, but I just wanted to mention this. The most it will cost is $80 but sometimes tickets cost $1-5 if you're lucky.

That's about 4 hours a week, or 16 a month.
