Might as well make this thread now before I forget it I guess

https://ceogaming.org/ main page for the event

Doors open at 10AM for Casuals. Badge Pickup Starts Thursday from 7pm until 9 pm and then Friday morning at 9 am all day.

CEO Orlando is June 26th-28th at the Wyndham Resort; 8001 International Drive Orlando, Florida 32819. Beautiful venue.

https://ceogaming.org/location The page for the hotel I suggest getting them quickly. $110 a night for 4 people in a room.

Fees:
Normal Registration ($40) is available until June 1st

Late Registration ($50) is available from June 1st until June 21st. No more online registrations will be accepted after Sunday June 21st so that we can prepare pools/brackets for the event.

On Site Registration ($60) is considered Emergency Registration and is only available Thursday June 25th from 6-9PM & Friday until 6PM for any Official Saturday Tournaments. You cannot and will not be regionally or skill seeded if you sign up at the door and will be thrown into the first available byes of pre-made brackets.

Again SG isnt a main game so you only need to pay $10 for the spectator badge. The tournament will probably be friday, more info to come if @Broken Loose will do it. If not I will work something out.

Fun stuff saturday and sunday of course, everyone should totally stay. I will be staying all weekend I believe as should everyone. 24 hour pool, and a ferris wheel opening may 1st next to the hotel. So that will be sick.

More info to come, just figured people would want to get info early.

CEO is only a month away. I hope we get more for SG than last year. Had a great time.

Hopefully I can actually compete. :^P

I'll run CEO. Again, given that we're in side room status and most people can't afford tickets across the country multiple times in a row, I'll figure you if you want to save your Orlando tripbux for CEOtaku, which is going to be awesome and amazing, instead.

Thanks for your help so far, @PrettiestMedic. You're the best.

I wish I could go again, but due to money issues i can't , though I will be sure to be at CEOtaku

I'll be at CEO courtesy of Gaming Generations. I'll likely be working my ass off all weekend, but I'll participate in any side tournaments. High fives will be freely given.

We really dont have to make it a MM if you dont want dude. Im just hype for some offline.

I also just remembered that I still dont have a 360 to PS3 converter. What was the converter everyone was using last year? I probably should jump on one of those. If SF4 stays on PS4 SG will basically be my only tourney unless they throw in some more old school games.

Okay, so 2 things!

First, I need as many PS3 setups as folks can bring this year. We're in a completely different room and run the risk of being extra poverty as a result. I can bring 2 Evo monitors, but my PS3 is dead. Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated!

Second, come to CEOtaku! This is exactly the event we asked for to dominate and have an amazing time! It's gonna be awesome!

I can bring mine, it's got a bunch of other FGs in there as well, if anyone feels like playing something else. Not sure if I got any spare HDMI cables though.

(Hopefully I remember to actually bring it and update it if a new patch comes out.)

I'll be there, I can bring my laptop with Skullgirls on it, doesn't help as a tournament station but I can make it available for casuals throughout the weekend. I tested the laptop monitor for lag, it's the same as the Asus evo monitor.

So, any idea what time friday this will be thrown?

I'm planning to hold it Saturday, unless there's a clamoring for Friday for some reason. I'm also waiting for the official schedule to come out so I can work around it.

WHATS THE PLAN BOYOS??????????????????

WHATS THE PLAN BOYOS??????????????????
We got moved from the Smash Room back into the Main Room, into the most disrespectful anime ghetto conceivable. I'm gonna talk to Sorethumbs about maybe hooking up with them. The time is still up in the air. I'm very sorry.

Okay, so here's the details:
Saturday, Floral Ballroom, BYOC area
Signups will start literally when I arrive on the property, so like 10am. I will probably be running a pool (and will post which and when) but anybody on the staff will be able to point you to me.
Tournament will start at 2pm. The King of Fighters 13 side tournament will be held in the same area at 3pm, but we're pretty confident we can fit both. Plus, KoF has one of the larger overlaps with SGE (I see you, @Kongk4) so this minimizes losing track of the 4 or 5 players who I know will be playing both.

$10 entry, Double Elimation, PS3, payout will scale based off number of entrants when the tournament starts. 2/3 all the way up until Winners/Losers/Grand Finals, which will be 3/5. Please bring PS3 setups with all the character DLC up until Beowulf.

While you're at it, why don't you enter King of Fighters? It's another good 2D fighter with lots of pressure and hand-drawn artwork. The combos are a lot longer, but hey, pretend you're playing SDE.

@SonicFox5000, I tried to get this in the afternoon in case you were running late or had a morning pool, but not so late that it would interfere with you playing in Semis of MKX and stuff. DM me on Twitter asap, though, because we need to meet up before the tournament if you're going to be allowed to play (since you still haven't played a Sonic game yet).

Okay, so details:
We are going to be streamed at jyosua! http://www.twitch.tv/jyosua
Whether that is just Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals is dependent on how many people show up to the tournament.

The tournament is still going to be at 2, but our stream time won't be until after Xrd finishes (and Xrd is at 4 iirc). Either way, there's no way we'll expect to conflict with Salty given that we operate on Real People Time and they operate on Fucking Weirdo time 3 hours later. I still have no clue when we'll actually be on stream, but I'll tweet the hell out of any details I conjure.

Anyway, blow it up, tell your friends.

I'll be running pool 3 of Xrd. Come sign up!

That's the second time Swype has blown me up this weekend ._________________.

He dosnt really exist, but is a group of different people taking turns being him

ALSO, DID SKULLGIRLSFANBOY SHOW UP???????????????????????
