Looks like Maxout out will be canceled for this month. So the next tournament will be KO on Oct. 25.
 
Yeah. 27th doesn't look like it's happening. So be at ease STL. You have another month before you get bopped again. Let's try to make this even bigger than usual though. I wonder if we can promote KO so that it's a full fledged regional rather than a simple I70 series.
 
maybe try to get a shout out on salty to promote it? or other sg streams?
 
Not to be too cynical, but I hardly think the 40 people watching a SG stream are gonna affect KO numbers.
 
I'm trying to get people to come out, not watch the stream.
 
yea, you can still have the stream announce there is a tournament coming up and if you live in the area you should attend.

You're like one of the most pessimistic people I've ever met, lol

KO is going to be a big event, if any of our tournaments have the potential to attract more out of town players than normal its this one. We should probably get a Skullheart tournament thread up as soon as possible. I think @Dhoppler and @evilben's idea is good and we should start promoting it.

I might be able to swing Thursday night. However I haven't really got the technical know how to run this thing the way I want too. We could just play a set and upload it to YouTube while we talk on Skype though. I'd be down to do that.

If I was able to do it it would be sometime after 9 pm tomorrow. Just hit me up on Steam.


ALSO REMINDER: Fresh Pots Friday is THIS Friday! @alexpi, any change you could make this one? Its in Lenexa so the drive shouldn't be too bad.

TO encourage people to play Skullgirls, I'm going to give free Steam copies of the game to anyone that enters our ranbat this Friday.

If housing is a concern, I could post you up for the night. Just make sure you bring a sleeping bag because my roommate and I don't have any furniture beyond a kitchen table and what's in our rooms.

ehhh, 50/50. depends on work. We've been short handed and I've been either working late or coming in on weekends.
 
Planning on doing a Skullgirls hookup/grind session at my place next week on Friday. I would do it this Friday, but I'm going to a concert.

Who's down? (That includes you, out of towners!)

The plan is for me to bring back weekly Skullgirls hookups at my place. There's a Popeyes right down the street from me, we have everything we need.

Not sure if I'm doing a hookup this Friday. Leaning toward no because I have a Statistics test I need to do online by Sunday at midnight and I'd rather spend Friday studying and do it Saturday morning. I'm also gonna be kind of busy Friday in general. That being said weekly hookups at my place are going to become a thing on Friday, so I'll see you all next week. Gonna have to work on stream audio so it doesn't sound like dogshit.
 
As the resident old man, I'm gonna say you should just do your damn school work. If you don't, I'll start telling rambling stories that don't go anywhere.
 
Looks like the KO venue got pulled at the last minute. Right now its looking like the new venue will be the Overland Park International Trade center. @Dhoppler can you update the thread for us?

Hookup is on for this Friday at my place barring something stupid happens. You guys want to hit up Wing Cafe before hand?
