Honestly, I'm excited for this epic conclusion. I should really go out and buy 1.5 HD Remix.

I honestly hope there isn't a marvel or star wars level. it's just that both of them as franchises are too big to have just a small world level in the game.

You'll be completely lost since most of the games keep bringing up previous moments/flashbacks/characters.

Just get the collections cause you'll catch up quickly on the storyline.

KH3 will be a clusterfuzzle, story-wise.

Gameplay? It looks so far to be a combination of BBS and 3D. So like,

also music and graphics look amazing
 
I hope Birth By Sleep: Final Mix has online with the Mirage Arena. God, the countless hours I put into that with my friends.
 
I've never played BBS, but I know MGS: Peace Walker's HD Version had the online totally intact and worked great.

Except all the people I would play with online would just go "MEOW MEOW MEOW" whenever they got spotted by an enemy.

It’s a privilege to be apart of today’s event, the first D23 Expo Japan. The last time I stood in front of fans was for the premier presentation of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, so it’s been a long time. I was moved by everyone’s excited response. If I have the chance I’d like to do this sort of thing again.

I wanted to put out the information for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 3 quickly for those who couldn’t attend, so we made the trailer public online. Since they’re both still in production, the trailers are short, but I hope that fans enjoy them. We are brushing up Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 even more that 1.5, even the staff is doing their best to improve it as much as possible.

Also, this is the first time that KH3 was shown using in-engine footage, but it’s not in a condition where viewers can fully grasp it. We’re going to improve the quality much more still after this. In the trailer you see 3 of Sora’s new moves, and they demonstrate the 2 attack systems, the first being Keyblade transformation. The Keyblade transformation is different for each Keyblade, and the battle style changes as well.

The second is the Disney attraction inspired Attraction Flow. Attraction Flow is an evolution of Kingdom Hearts 3D’s Flowmotion. With Attraction Flow, you can choose which move you want to use against which enemies on the spot, and even during an enemy outbreak you control Sora’s attacks. These new actions are just a fraction of Kingdom Hearts 3′s new components, so please wait for information hereafter.​

Well, this thread died.

So a thought occured to me today.
A bunch of good ass Disney movies came out in the past 5 years.
Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Princess and the Frog, Frozen.
Each one of those would be a good world for KH 3.

There's also the matter that Marvel and Star Wars are owned by Disney now too.
Some people are clamoring for a Darth Vader bonus boss.
Which would be kinda hype.
 
I really doubt marvel or disney would make good worlds in KH. mainly because of the fact that both franchises cover an ENTIRE universe for themselves. you can't really put star wars on just one planet, and the fact that there's so many interstellar characters both good and bad.

I mean, it works for stitch because his franchise barely covers anything outside of earth.
 
Think the likely Star Wars "world" (assuming there is one) that are iconic enough would be Tatooine, Death Star, or even the Jedi Temple. There are a few other planets too I could name, but don't think they are as likely.

Hoping TWEWY characters come back too since they have the models.

Xemnas accidently used the "copy/paste" feature instead of the "transfer files to:" feature of his build-a-clone workshop. Such an error allows Xion to come back to life through windows backup.

Anyway, I had an idea for the new "form" (like the valor one with two keys), and it's literally just Sora putting the keyblades onto a giant key ring and swinging it around like a maniac.

Wreck-It Ralph could work, I mean even with the original settings it'd still be meta as shit.

I mean, it could just be Ralph in Sugar Rush with Vanellope and I'd still be hype as balls.
 
Those worlds sound cool, but how do they get implemented? That's the thing I find off putting about some of these worlds.
Wreck-It Ralph actually sounds possible, if not for licensing Hell issues.
Tangled doesn't seem very fitting to me. Not a good villain for it.
I haven't seen Frozen so no comment there.
Princess and the Frog actually could work. Just wouldn't have a guest party member. At least not from the movie.

True, but since we haven't seen anything since the D23 Expo last year of Kingdom Hearts III, if they show new worlds and stuff I will instantly mark this as the best moment of E3 this year.

I would say differently. Sony barely won E3 solely because of the fact that they destroyed their major competitor in the outside Japan market.

I don't think they'll reuse the same songs. They'll probably ask Utada to make a new song (if she isn't busy)

Not likely. Every new console title gets a new theme.

They only reused Simple and Clean/Sanctuary because all of the portable titles tied in to KH & KH II with the last one being Dream Drop Distance.

I wouldn't be surprised if they brought someone new sing the OP this time. I doubt they will rehash simple/sanctuary (they been recycled to death on the side games) for the 3rd main game.

As a side note, KH is hardly a Sony baby anymore considering the series finally went multi-platform for consoles like the modern FF titles (not to mention Nintendo handhelds) and Sony recently dumping their Square stock for a nice chunk of change.
