(NOTE: The time at the top says that the event closes at 10:30pm but it actually closes at 10:00pm. This is because the forums won't let me set it to 10pm.)

Hi!

Angel's Duel is a single-day London tournament themed around Examu's fighting games: Arcana Heart 3 Love Max, Aquapazza and Nitroplus Blasterz. But most importantly, it's run by the same guys as the LGS anime (and Skullgirls) monthlies and it has a similar Bring Your Own Console zone, but it's at a better venue and with longer hours. So we'll be running Skullgirls, as usual. Think of it as a bigger, better and longer replacement for March's LGS.

The venue and hours aren't the only things that make it better than LGS; Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator will be playable at the event! Come along and try out the new Xrd characters without having to see them at crappy 240p Japanese stream quality!

Date and Time:
Saturday 12th March, 10:30am-10pm

Venue Fee:
£6, pay at the door. Official tournaments for Examu games (Arcana Heart, Aquapazza, Nitro+ Blasterz) are an extra £2 each.

Location and Travel:
Bolney Meadow Community Centre
31 Bolney Street
London
SW8 1EZ

It's a 10 minute walk from Vauxhall, Oval or Stockwell tube stations, right in the middle of all 3 of them.

Also, food is available at the venue!

I'll be busy on this Saturday. Sorry dude, maybe next time.

Unfortunately I'll be busy this Saturday. I will be heading to the Heart of Gaming tomorrow however if anyone wants to play a few rounds.

From the other people I've talked to, it seems like pretty much everyone is busy on Saturday. I'm gonna stay at home too in that case, because I have a hell of a lot of work to do over the weekend and I don't want to end up being the only person there for BYOC SG. See you at April's LGS monthly!

I'm sorry I'm never on the site as much anymore! But I'm interested in LGS, I don't know what it is but I'm intrigued. Got SFV and I took up F.A.N.G and I feel I'm doing really well with him since I'm on SuperBronze now. Did anyone else see the HoG on the BBC documentary on Fighting games? That got me pretty happy.
