I'm sick of people labeling tomato as a fruit, just because they were born with certain genes. Can't we just accept tomato for what they clearly feel like they are? A vegetable? It's 2016, people.

This is actually a considerable topic of debate.

Going by my earlier point, the difference between Always Allow and Never Allow is technically, "When does a Skullgirls match start?"

If it starts once both teams are picked, then load switching should be allowed even during blind picks. The entire purpose of load switching is that it's a guessing game situation not unlike a mixup.
If it starts once the characters are allowed to move, then load switching should be universally banned. It's unfair to claim that a particular subgame of Skullgirls only exists when both players say it's okay for it to exist.

Wait, Broken Loose, why not just disallow blind picks at all? You ask. If we're going to allow every subgame, isn't the art of character selection and counterpicking one of those? Yes, it is, but there's no timer on character select. Blind picks are literally a request by a player to instantly expedite a portion of the game which involves literally no execution on the part of the players. For obvious reasons, I'm attracted to the "saves time" option especially when the alternative is "sometimes character select takes indefinitely long."

For the record, you don't have to stay at any hotel to participate at any major. You just have to register for the major itself.

This comes in handy when you have local majors, since you can just sleep at home.

I guess we can just pick a day that everyone is happy with a week before cb when we know the times for skullgirls to get pizza.

Thursday or Friday morning would probably be a good time when most of us are there, but this is only a placeholder time for now

First of all it's CLASS NOTES learn the lore.

I liked to pick Class Notes a lot for seeing characters, but now I've shifted over to Empty Arena because it's sort of like a grey and the colours usually stand out against it nicely.
Picking Class Notes more than once when you are on stream will get Mike mad.

What Mike suggested people do which is what MvC2 players did is you hit random and if the stage sucks then you hold pause and press play again before the match can start.
(I did this in Top 8 at NEC)

I'm definitely not playing on blood bath vs dark characters.
Just like how people wouldn't want to play vs black Sentinel colour on Factory.

I noticed you actually play worse on not Empty Arena, I didn't think it was a big deal since I just wanted to play on Maplecrest

That wasn't the stage I just hecked up a bit in neutral and lost because it's Skullgirls but that's why we got

Maplecrest is beautiful I like the stage a lot but for 100% serious pants I just prefer Empty Arena.

Technically if you never sleep you can just stay playing games all weekend in the 24 hour venue.
 
Idk my homie slept on the floor until his pools in the morning on the venue floor, that's optimal.

There is a room thread here, I just posted there looking for some some people to bunk with. It'll be tight money-wise for me, but I think I can make it out to this if I can find a full room of 4.
