I did some thorough searching to see if a thread for this exists, it does not. Anyways, I'm a fan of Transformers and I wanted to create a thread where other Transformers fans could discuss it, whether it's the comics, movies, games, or TV shows. Or even the characters themselves. Any and all Transformers related discussions are welcome! Doesn't matter if you think G1 is best or not, we're all here to have a good time and talk about giant alien robots that turn into vehicles and the occasional cassette tape. And that's all I really have to say about this, I'm sorry it's not that long.

So have fun! Just don't send anyone to a car wash of doom...

So how about the announcement of another Transformers film directed by Michael Bay?

Never heard of it.

But yeah, G1 is the best. Well, in a general sense. That, and Beast Wars.

I need to go back and watch Prime though. My brother's a huge stickler for TF and he loved it, so that means apparently they did something very right (I actually didn't mind TFA too much myself, but he wasn't into it at all).

I did watch a couple random Prime episodes where I got to hear some of Frank's Megatron, and I gotta say he sounded amazing in it. Frank's performance always sounded a bit off whenever he did the voice after the original G1 run, but I think other attempts he was given to reprise the role must have been very rushed. Until Prime, he was probably just never given enough time to really get back into character, but it was great to hear him nail it again. The guy does so many voices, so who can blame him for needing a little warm up?

Anyway, nerd train running, my fav TFs are Soundwave and Sixshot, but I always still root for the Autobots. I just like how they always managed to feel like the underdogs, even with their obvious winning streaks. Furman's reinvention of Grimlock in the comics was pretty beast too.
