I don't own a PSBox3DS60, so most new games fall into this category for me. These aren't brand new, but I'd still like to check out Ni no Kuni and Kid Icarus: Uprising at some point. The new Tomb Raider game also looked kinda interesting, but I've still gotta beat the first one!

As for stuff I can actually play, I've been anxious to get the recent Steam release of Dust: An Elysian Tail. I've got so much on my backlog though, I think I can hold out for a few seasons.

I know it hasn't technically come out yet, but Rune Factory 4 comes out Tuesday. I've never played a Rune Factory game before but it's caught my interest as I've seen some of the other games, but never played them. The concept is interesting and I love Harvest Moon, so I feel I might like it.

I have a lot of unfinished Single Player games, but from the ones I haven't bought yet:

-Killer Is Dead
-GTA5 (I was skeptical about it at first, but now wanna play it)
-Shadowrun Returns
-Guacamelee
-Lone Survivor

And so many more!

I CAN'T WAIT FOR RUNE FACTORY 4 AAAAAAA

Rune Factory is an amazing blend of dungeoning and Harvest Moon. If you like a little bit of monster killing with your Harvest Moon you'll immediately feel right at home!

You know what else everyone here needs to check out? Aces Wild:
It's a beat-em-up with shmup elements, it looks fantastic and amazing!

I hate college. I have to wait until December to be able to play Rayman Legends, GTA V, and eventually Watch Dogs. :(
At least I can still play X/Y.

How do you define new games? Any game released in the current year? In the last six months?

Anyway, for me it is GTA 5, Divekick, Ducktales HDR, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Resident Evil: Revelations.

@Crayolan rayman legends is amazing and you will love it.
When I get time, gotta get to playinng Awesomenauts, GTA V, the long list of steam games I haven't touched (KOTOR, Amnesia, System Shock 2, Vampire- the masquerade, DOTA), new Shantae when it comes out, some Humble Indie Bundle games. Just bunch of old and new things.

You realize this only makes the waiting even more painful.

Dodonpachi Saidaioujou and Ginga Force. Both came out this year, import only.

Dodonpachi is basically the game that simultaneously invented and popularized the "bullet hell" sub-genre of shooters. Some might argue that the hacked version of Batsugan did it first, but Dodonpachi is really the first official and polished game of the genre. It was also voted best shooter of all time like 5 years in a row at shmupsystems, and was almost always in the top 3.

Saidaioujou is the official end of the series, since Cave has announced they are leaving the gaming business. As the review points out, it's a really great return to form for the series, and something I'm definitely eager to play.

Ginga Force on the other hand, is the spiritual successor to Eschatos. Eschatos is probably top 3 greatest shooters I've ever played, and was easily worth of the price of an Xbox 360 for me. Everything about the games design just feels fundamentally great, and Ginga Force looks to really keep that going.

C-Cave is leaving the gaming business? ;-; I'm going to miss their shmups...

Let's see.

- The Last of Us
- Killer is Dead
- Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle
- Chaos Code
- Tales of Xillia

Actually, going back over the information, it's a bit more ambiguous. Ikeda (the original main man) is still there, and wants to make shooters. However, they heavily restructured, and they seem to be saying in their new business plan outline that they are going to be focusing heavily or almost entirely on mobile and social game type things.

Looking at what they said and how things are going, there's technically still hope for more stg's, but it might not be for a looooong time. If ever.

I remember reading that Cave wanted to shift to the mobile market. That must've been it.
