Nintendo Switch

That's a D-pad for ants.
Still looks better than the Gamecube d-pad.

Saa....looks like I will be the first one to do this joke.

Time for Nintendo to....

Switch ON

Skyrim isn't my thing, but I'm reading that Bethesda refuses to confirm that the game will be for Nintendo Switch.

To be fair I've heard most companies they've listed down for the new Switch have been super secretive so far as well

Nintendo's being secretive about this in general, after all the Smash 4 leaks I don't friggin' blame them.

I wonder why.

I'm not believing any switch rumors or leaks until theres an official announcement.

Apparently they plan to only distribute 2 million Switches worldwide by the end of the first quarter. That's fine. I didn't need to get one in the next 3 years.

I was actually planning on getting one at launch... depending on how many good games they have

You do realize I said 2 million. WORLDWIDE. And only that much.

Please let the sticks be USB this time. Please.

If it's $250 I'll get it, if the "Premium" is $300, I'll get it
I have paid 0 attention to Switch news, have they confirmed they're doing models this way or is it just assumed because the way the Wii-U was handled?

I would much rather pay $350 for hardware that isn't complete garbage and might have a chance at third party support than whatever the hell you could fit in a tablet for only $250.

I can wait. I don't know enough about the Switch to get excited yet, and I am skeptical about 3rd party support.

My rule with consoles is it needs 4 games I absolutely need before I can consider it, if Switch has 2/4 of those at Launch I'll get it, if not they gotta hit the bricks 'till they have more reasons to own it.

With how little I've even touched my 3DS and Wii U over the past two years or so, this might be the first Nintendo console I don't immediately buy at launch. Or at least it's the first I'm not automatically hyped for sight unseen, but I guess we'll see if anything they show tomorrow will win me back over.

I'm not sure if I'm just old and jaded, if my tastes have shifted away from what Nintendo's been up to lately... or if maybe Nintendo has just pushed back all the good stuff to save for a strong Switch launch. But really what I'm worried about most is that I'd be buying the system for only a handful of first-party games and nothing else, it absolutely needs to have more than just that.

Someone sent me a leak the other day with Arms and Splatoon 2. I ignored it because it was supposedly from 4chan and included a new Bomberman and an SF2 port. I'm starting to believe.

Well I missed the first hour because I didn't know when it started, but I was just in time for that Xenoblade announcement with the weird-looking art. Xenoblade Chronicles had a good aesthetic going on. :/

SMT trailer sold me. I'm a sucker and I'm going to regret this. I don't care.

Oh hey, Suda is here, if he's actually directing again I will be happy.

Yo, Arms looks wild, with that and confirmation that Splatoon 2 is a full sequel, I think Nintendo just won me back over. Still probably won't buy it at launch since those are coming later anyway, and I'm saving up for a trip to Combo Breaker before I spend another $300 on that.

Also, HD Remix in the sizzle reel showed three characters onscreen. Dramatic Battles in SF2?

i am no alive but my spirit is strong

i want it

I already knew I was going to be getting this system as I skipped the Wii U entirely, Breath of the Wild as a launch title confirmed that, but now that I know it will support Splatoon motion controls, I'll definitely be getting that too.

And the moment I saw those dual pistols in Splatoon, I went "THOSE- THOSE ARE NEW WEAPONS."

Edit: ...They're making ANOTHER version of Street Fighter 2?!

Welp I actually have something to actually look forward to on my birthday at the least. Though I'm concerned about Arms longevity and price, like if it's like 20-30 dollars maybe or if it has something to keep me interested like some thin. But I don't see it hold much attention out of having something to play during parties.

fuck yo jojo references it's one piece territory now
